New Year's Eve. Not staying up until midnight. I recall trying on a bunch of outfits on new year's eve to go out. I want to have a unified look. Not these days.
Old year, 2022, as that is leaving us. I feel sad. But look forward to 2023 with gladness.
I only know one thing that is going on in 2023. It is less work and retirement. But, of course, my own work is in progress.
I'm satisfied with how I did on my well-being. I don't weigh every day. I weighed this morning and was up two tens of pounds. So it is a hold, no gain or loss. The first thing I had today was a blueberry pancake with scrambled eggs. The last thing I had was some Caramel Butter pecan praline ice cream.
Why not? Let's talks about some personality trait through genomelinks. On the low side, I decided to take
SOCIAL REJECTION. Confession time...I have thought of acting like Trump to fit in around here. But I know I would be miserable and loathe myself. So it will be just me. No one else, and that way, I will be happy.
Now for the middle range, I'm looking at FRAMING. Most of us weigh the pros and cons of any situation. How much time do we put into researching it?
In the high range, I'm going with SENSITIVE. Over time I learned not to wait until the last dog is hung. That way, it's not overwhelming. I wonder precisely how anxiety and sensitivity are hooked together.

I hope you enjoy your “less work” year.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, best wishes to you as you head towards retirement.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Nice art
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to 2023. Just be yourself. There isn't anything wrong with that. Just give folks a chance. Don't judge as a group. Judge on individual. I don't always agree with everyone but it is never enough to not be friendly.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year. You can either act like yourself and be happy, or act the way others expect and try to make them happy, and be unhappy. I am glad you chose to be happy.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Here’s to a fabulous 2023!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the year of retirement. Enjoy scaling back.
