Well I know the local paper the herald was coming out, and I knew they was good chance our local read in was going to be in the paper. But we're on the FRONT PAGE. I'm the dark hair one, sitting on grass, by the lady in the hat. If it wasn't for lady in the hat. I couldn't find my self. Tuesday we have school bond to vote on. The result of bond initiative will give hint how the library may do or not. Now they claiming there been STRIPERS at our local library. And the backer of redoubt is upset if they are called EXTERMIST, but it ok they use term GROOMER. Good Golly if some book offend you don't check it OUT
Work been going so so. Regis is doing good. He got a new chair from a thrift store. He and I will be hauling it to dump and swing by the thrift store to get his new chair. It was $35. Liz is slowly spinning downward mentally. She was doing pretty good. The behavior health center had help and I could see improvements. But she got summons to court over the death of her son, Dave. It was August 20 and now they moved it to September something. Not sure of the date. But it didn't help. I'm going to take her to doctor appointment see if they will give her tranquilizer when the anxiety get to much. She talking about possible going down to Kootenai behavior health unit.
I been a somewhat in emotional spin. This is lease of issue. I had to go and talk to the financial department at local hospital. About a bill we gain at the local hospital, and we made agreement of a lease $105 a month. I can do that and more.
But this “Read In” is bring up childhood emotional of defiant. My dad has said “Why are you do defiant” My dad was some what a bigot but he never thought any one for any reason should been erased from Earth
Couldn't find an individual artist from KIRIBATI, although I didn't look all that hard. But I'm willing to share what I found.

I think your over worked and all the stress is getting to you as well
ReplyDeleteSome downtime to recharge your batteries would be an excellent idea. Hopefully you can find the time to look after you as well

ReplyDeleteI agree with Angela... and I would have spotted you, the hair and posture. I did have to expand the image! Love these art pieces today. YAM xx
Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat publicity for the Read In.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad so many people were at the read in. Libraries are so important. And as you say, if you don't like a book, don't read it! Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou’ve been busy
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting the front page of the paper, that is very cool. I hope you get something worked out with the hospital.
ReplyDeleteStress is really hard to deal with. I hope she can get some help.
ReplyDeleteSelf Care!! Take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteWhat an impressive set of books you and your fellow read in'ers read. I just read my first Jodi Picault novel, and was looking for another one to read. I will immediately look for 19 Minutes in the library. Please, take care of yourself. Self Care, as Yogi says!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to sign my name in the comment I just made. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThe read in "was not sanctioned or supported by the library"? Well, that's lovely of them. You'd think the library would be more supportive of your read-in for them.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good amount of people for your read in. I don't see why the library wouldn't be supportive.
ReplyDeleteI think we all have the "freedom of speech (and write ?)"
ReplyDeleteI like the art you've shared here.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
What a mess that whole library thing is. The Redoubt article sure is one sided.
ReplyDeleteLoved the art.
