Yesterday I talk a little what I need, it culture and intellectual items. I don't think there a good define. Here is first one off of google. READ HERE Personally I look at as CRITICAL THINKING. Not much to do with I.Q. I feel this might clear up the DIFFERNCE between intellect and intelligence. Though out history the intellectual people or groups was murdered. Even HILTER was out for these people. Yes and even our last President, Trump is ANTI INTELLECTUAL
Like to bring up things like the Olympic games, and other major events, like the Oscar, Tony, and such. I don't watch them. My dad and I would watch the games during the cold war era. We only see the top athletics, that is in the running for a medal. I believe there 91 nations is at the game. Like the country of MONTENEGRO. Plus these are athletics are so called amateur. They aren't receiving a pay check, but still lot them I would guess don't need hold regular job down.
I pretty much feel like the same about such things as Oscars. I'm sure there other parts of it, other than best actor and actress. How about the ones who set up the set, does hair style, make up and such. There as important as the actors and actress. How many people does it actually take to make movie.
I'm clueless what goes on during the commercials, but some of these I never HEARD of when it comes to awards. Other I have but I don't know that much about them.

Went to Work today, all went smooth. Snow quite a bit of the day. Today Artist is PAUL HARRIS he from FLORDIA. The first two photos is from my weekend adventure at art galleries in Spokane. First one is from Home and black artist. The other one is bible art.

I really like commercials and advertisements as I like to see how creative they can be with words and pictures. I find the less words the better.

ReplyDeleteI don't watch commercials, I didn't see the Superbowl so I haven't even seen the expensive ones they create for it. I would probably not care for them these days.

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good work day. The basketball and hockey teams that the US sends to the Olympics are professional players here in the States, I never understood that one.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see set designers and costume makers get awards, movies couldn't be made without them. my grand daughter makes costumes for theatre plays.
