Snow a lot last yesterday, nice fluffy powder. No local schools and other places are close. But now it raining and roads are awfully. Waiting for plows to come though the roads. If there done early enough I will go into work.
Decided to undress the yule tree. Also did load of jeans and heavy items.we
Cut some strips of fabrics as I was watching movie. Anne of 1000 days.
Well Liz text me and want me to bring in supplies. Which is beer and cigarettes. She desperate. Both her and Regis lack cooping skills. I don't run out and in less five minutes smoke some pot and or drink alcohol. But I don't need to crowing so load. I go for food, usually sweets. But I'm working on it. Guessing why she need supplies. I would guess Laim and her failed when it came to sex. He been doing illicit drugs, add his ages and alcohol. Downward spiral. Sad thing there both kind people. Both deserve happiness and love.
Two things, I tried to put my blog on a Thumb Drive. Couldn't figure it out. Question time...Has anyone put there blog on Thumb drive? I like to make three copies. Give each one of my son a copy of my blog. But one I would like to give a thumb drive of my blog to my local museum, BOUNDARY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY. But still I need to figure how to get my blog on thumb drive.
I don't know if blogger uses an algorithm or not. But I know a lot f social media plate form does. Mostly facebook. Opinion time...All social media needs to get rid of the algorithm system. Use randomof chance who sees what we post. The algorithm system in social media usually just confirm our own ideals with those who agree with us. No real civil conversation is start and so we can move forward. It seems today over at facebook I'm getting more post I would say I'm neutral about. As one could figure it out. I'm not a fan of algorithm.
Today Artist is THOMAS EAKINS and he her from PENNSYLVANIA
I hope your snow mess gets cleared up soon. I'm sure Liz is very frustrated but I hope she has to wait some.
ReplyDeleteI am sure there are great tutorials out there!! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year dora.
Enjoy your artists. You are a very compassionate person you see the good qualities in Liz and her ex.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I know nothing about thumb drives, so I have no advice for you! I remember going to see the movie "Anne of a Thousand Days" in the 1970s when I was a teenager. Richard Burton and Genevieve Bujold, the young (at that time) actress from Quebec!
ReplyDeleteSome lovely paintings there. Now to check what is this Thumb Drive.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about 5be algorithms on Facebook. That’s how misinformation and conspiracy theories spread so fast.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to put a blog onto a thumb drive and with all your posts I would think you need a very large storage size drive. Maybe you could get a 1TB external hard drive, plug it into your computer, then go to your posts page and try a right click on each title then if a pop-up window appears click on "send to" then select the hard drive. I've never tried this myself, usually I just back up the entire system to a hard drive so I still have it all if the computer crashes and fries.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't go out until the roads are clear. I've never tried saving my blog, so I cn't help you there. Have a great weekend, Valerie
ReplyDelete...our tree will remain decorated for a bit longer, we like it.
ReplyDeleteI only know how to backup my blog and saved it in my computer. Haven't done it with thumb drive.
ReplyDeleteI don’t know anything about thumb drives. Good luck with it. Let us know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteI love Thomas Eakins. What a great artist he is.
ReplyDeleteHope you sort out the thumb drive and the snow clears, I took my tree down and it feels so empty and bare now!
ReplyDeleteI have never backed up my blog. I leave it to the internet gods to not erase it lol!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find the way to back up my blog anymore with the changes to Blogger but I know mine is quite big and I suspect yours is also - you may need an external hard drive. I hope you find out because I would like to know, too. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSorry, I don't know how to put a blog onto a thumb drive, I would think there are tutorials on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteWe took our Christmas decorations down last weekend, they are now all safely put away.
All the best Jan
