A few tomatoes have ripen on bush. Getting fresh raspberries, and smoke from forest fires rolled in. I hear Canada might be opening there borders for travel who vaccinated.

ReplyDeleteI love home grown tomatoes, but this time (again) all my bushes got sunburned and shrivelled up. I'm not going to try again, this patch of garden is just no good for soft fruits like tomatoes. Way too hot.
ReplyDeleteI worry about countries opening borders too soon, I saw on the news last night America is having a lot of new Delta strain cases and not enough people are vaccinated. We have a lot of new cases here too, the Delta one, but mostly in Eastern states, only a few in my state. So far. We have very tight restrictions now since yesterday.
Lots of exciting news! Fresh berries - yum! And, borders opening, yes please!

ReplyDeleteThe borders are opening to the vaccinated. At least for those coming into Canada. Not the reverse yet.

Fresh Raspberries, I envy you! When we lived in Michigan and also in England, Berries grew Wild and we'd go pick them and then freeze what we couldn't eat right away... I still remember how much Fun that was... tho' Blackberry Bushes are very difficult to pick from without drawing Blood. *LOL*
