Today Is Wednesday April 21 2021, This Is What Happen

It mid week and time for writing prompt and I been using JOURNAL BUDDIES and been using first grade level ideal, don't need anything to heavy. I'm using PERSONAL NARRATIVE and prompts is "What is your morning routine like going to school and also what is your morning routine like now"

Let talk about school days. I don't actual recall what time  I got up in morning. I think it was about hour and half before I caught the bus, Had to walk down the end of street. My mom had a little breakfast for me. Our family wasn't big breakfast eater, we had some type of fruit. I had to make my bed each morning and a few time I had it ripped apart. Yes I can make miltary or hospital corners. Dirty clothes went into dirty clothes hamper. I took care of all the animals in morning. And for some reason my mom want me to do some type of morning chore. It seem to change from day to day. Nothing really big. Now let advance to present day. I get between 5 and 7 in the morning. First one up make pot of coffee, our coffee pot is super slow. Usual the cat want a morning treat and fill cat dish with food. I have a cup of coffee and watch the news. If it odd day I will take walk, if weather is awful I will do some time on the thread mill. Editor note...our tread mill is having issue, look like a belt need replaced. But even days I will do my morning exercises. Except Sundays. If Tuesday and or Saturday falls on odd day I will go some where and take my walk. My husband cooks my breakfast, afterwards will have anther cup of coffee. I rarely do house hold chores before I head to work. After my second cup coffee I usually make my lunch and head out to work.

This week been a lot let stress.

Coffee is on and stay safe

  2. I remember mornings after my mum left, Dad would get up first and as he was leaving for work he would set the alarm clock and when it rang I would get up and have breakfast and make a sandwich for my lunch then walk to school.

  3. Work before school as kid seems... hard? Or good? I cannot decide. When little it was 5 minutes on foot to school, later 10 minutes by push-bike.

  4. I understand about that first coffee Dora, essential 😉 I prefer to get up early, if I sleep in it feels like I've wasted the best part of the day :)

I can't remember my childhood breakfast at all. Good to hear you had a better week.

  7. I don't remember school day routine at all now. We had to drive to school, as it was probably 8 miles from home. It was a tiny religious school, two room, four grades in one room, four in the other. Husband taught upper four grades (he was nuts) and his wife the lower four.

  9. Wow, your memory is so clear. I don't remember much about my morning routine when I was in school. My sister is a year younger that I am, and was usually in the same school as I was, and I remember fighting with her over who was in the bathroom...we took a bus.

  10. I'm glad that this week was less stressful.
When I was a kid I had to get my younger brother up, feed us both and get us both ready for school and then walk us both to school. Both my parents were alcoholics so they were no help at all.

Now a days I get up, take the dog for a walk, eat breakfast, get my daughter up for work and help my grandson with his online schoolwork.

  11. Chores in the morning? Wow. I've always been a do the bare minimum in the morning person. I get up with just enough time to get ready and go. And I've been doing it that way since at least jr high.
