Today Is Thursday April 21 2021. This Is What Happen

There times I have trouble figuring what to post. Having certain days to post things does help. But Thursday and sort of Saturday is still open. I'm playing with ideal of spiritual post on Saturday. But it not place into cement yet.

Over on my facebook I posted a group question over at "Creston B.C Conversations" since I live close to British Columbia and Creston is real first town once go over boarder....Hi, from your American neigbor. Has anyone heard when border might be open. I want to take a ride on the ferry. Ok I believe most people had no clue when the boarder will open. I think some is hoping first part of July. July first is Canada day and our July 4th. Who honestly knows. But here is an answer that bothed me...Boarders should be kept closed until Americans learn not to use there firearms to kill whoever they feel like. The USA is a very violent country and they have long way to go heal the promblem. Their past politicians help create. My reply was, I can understand how many people in other countries see us American as violent people. It even scarey for me. After reading your comment. Today post will be base from your comment.

My feeling was hurt and plus I felt a bit of angry being put in a catagory or box that I have no desire to be or want to be in. Let face fact. Statement time....American isn't going to give up there guns. I don't agree or understand why so many American is in enthralled about firearms. Notice most American talk about our constiutional they only remember the first two admendments. And the other 25 doesn't count. I have gave my Opinion time....Guns should be handle the same way they do cars...License to own a gun(s), register and or title, physical and mental test take every one to five years, and liability insurance. I don't care how many firearms one have and type as long as it treated same as a automoblie. But this person who thought the boarder should of been close because of violent tendencies of Americans, I do understand. It also reminded me of my narrow mind dad thinking. I could make a long list how he would pin point certain people into their proper pigion holes. As American I felt like I was being pigion hole because of other American behavior. One more thing on guns. When I go shopping since I live open carry state and it common to see people having a gun strap to there hip. I don't go up and down store aisle, looking who packing a gun. But if I see someone in store I leave the store immediately. Crazy people don't wear a ball cap with letter F.N (Fuckin Nuts) So even with mass shootings I believe none of the shooter had cap with letters F.N. So why stick around and see if one will have to dodge bullets

I got my granddaughter birthday gift mail off, well over two week late.

Coffee is on and stay safe.

  1. If guns were legal here although it would worry me that they get into the wrong hands, I would probably have one to protect myself from the increasing number of terrorist FN's that do mass murder in places here, I don't feel safe anywhere as I know a FN could rampage through a shopping centre at any moment and stab everyone to death - not sure guns will help but I would rather die defending myself.

  2. As far as I can see, there is simply no need for anyone to carry or even own a gun of any type, unless they are living in the wild and hunting rabbit, deer or whatever for dinner. And there are probably safer ways to hunt, like with traps.

Law enforcement need guns. Some farmers need guns. No one else needs guns. Full stop. Blogs have taught me that not everyone in the US thinks like US citizens are sometimes portrayed. I've learnt there are very decent, caring and sensible people. I just wish they would only send my kind thoughts, and not prayers.

  4. It doesn't bother me if someone is packing a gun, I just go on about my business. I think that truck drivers must still be able to go into Canada.

  5. Police came to take my Mum. She was very sick of cancer and forgot to put my late Dad´s gun in a safe. Well... she sure had other things on her mind... as we did (or Dad´d passed 10 years ago at that time.
Meanwhile a guy runs nuts with an axe in a train and kills several people. A few weeks ago someone... what you say... took his car and killed several people on purpose with that. Others take knives... It´s the people, not the "tools".

  8. I'm Canadian and horrified someone would write that. I don't think the border will open up in the near future.

  9. I don’t agree with the person you commented about keeping the border closed because of guns. Covid is the reason now. I hope that issue is resolved soon.

  10. There's never been a problem with guns crossing the border into Canada, and the comment stereotyped Americans and was out of line. You know I am a big sensitive on this, Dora, because you know what happened here on Long island earlier this week...it doesn't qualify as a "mass shooting" because he shot only three people and two of them survived, but it was just scary for the people shopping in that supermarket as if it were a mass shooting. Turns out the shooter has a history of mental illness, And when it happens just a few miles from where you live...yeah, America needs to do better with gun control.

  12. Dang, that commenter just gave me a reason to never go back to Canada. Guns or not, there is never an excuse to be that F#$#$ing rude. He or she never needs a gun, they just shoot their mouths off.

  14. You cracked me up so hard I snorted coffee out my nose! Crazy people don't wear a hat that says Fuckin Nuts. Thats a gem! I'm still laughing, I can't get over it. As for guns, people who have to dress up with gun gear even in the grocery store are probably nuts. I don't want around them either. I know Americans are thought of as violent crazy people. But that's only those who pigeon whole all as the same, in a country. My dad did the same. Everybody needed fit in some box.

  15. I agree about licensing guns. They are way more deadly than cars (especially when used for their intended purpose), and we have to have a license and insurance for our cars.

  16. So many of us are just waiting for the day for borders to open once again.

  17. I'd been wanting a driving trio to Canada for a couple years since my girls went two summers ago. Yes, the comment was rude, but we as Americans enable this love affair with guns by electing enough people that can't get progress in sane regulation. I'd leave a business too if I saw an open gun, but we have conceal and carry-so perhaps scarier.
