It sloppy and wet here in North Idaho, yesterday we had our first snow fall. And now since it warm up a bit.
I have on black canvas shoes and not friendly toward slop. To lazy to put proper foot ware to go out and do what needs to be done outside.
Things are slow getting back to normal. As Murphy went to town I pick up a bit around the place. Organize bill we had three unexpected ones came in, hospital, property tax, and vehicles insurance. Well I'm thankful I do have funds to cover all of this, and have some left over to take care of daily life, like breathing.
Trying to figure out what to get for those on my Yule list. And this article says most of us will spend over ONE THOUSAND, and I wonder if this covers extra food and such.
As for my grand daughters each will recieve two toys, outfit, pajamas, and the two younger ones will get two books, and my older one will get a one book and dvd.
Plus plenty of hugs and kisses.
Then there those filling in gifts and such.
With things being on lightly bumbing ride of life. It looks like I can get back doing some crafts. I had plan to make up bunch of hotpot holders for Yule. Well reality smack my face and it not going to happen.
Still I can work on them. Like drawing my tarot cards, and my hot pot holders. I won't get what I want to do, but that's ok.
I was going to go off on happening with President Trump but decided there more better things to share and talk about.
I found this site called SPOON FLOWER it place were one can design there own wall paper, gift wrap, fabric, and other cool items.
I don't like using the word "Never" and when I do use "That word" I end up eating crow.
It very doubtful I will buy anything from this company before end of year. Maybe sometime in 2019 and like every year, there 365 days.
Coffee is on

ReplyDeleteoh yes, I know of Spoonflower... interesting, but pricey! YAM xx
Sounds like you're busy! And way organized for the holiday.
ReplyDeletePS...along the Texas coast, when it's 50 degrees, think your 30's in Idaho. It's the extreme humidity!
I don't have any footwear capable of dealing with slop, so I'm glad we don't get things like slushy snow and all the melting that goes on at the end of your winter. Things stay pretty dry most of the year in South Australia, occasionally there will be too much rain and we'll have a bit of mud, but that's it.
ReplyDeleteOur niece says that Erie, PA had its first snowfall too. Here, just north of Washington, DC, we are expecting our first night of freezing temperatures.

ReplyDeleteYou had already snow ? We still have unusual warm temperatures in Belgium. It rains and it's windy !
ReplyDeleteYes, I should get my boots out, it will be warmer. Spoon Flower sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here on Long Island yet, but they had snow north and west of NYC. Winter is coming. But my duck boots are ready.
ReplyDeleteWow re your having had your first snow fall of the season already! Over here in Hong Kong, it's only finally starting to feel like fall... but even so, I'm still in short sleeves for the most part (though I have started going around in long trousers rather than shorts during the day)!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine spending so much on the holidays.
