Not Sure what happen to Hodge Podge Wednesday I sure miss it. Hopeful she just taking a little time off.
But for now I will be glad to take part in ABC WEDNESDAY and WORDLESS WEDNESDAY .
My mom liked to have the beds made with nice Edge and actual these days I don't tuck my edge in. As long as the bed is straighten out and I can get in it. I'm happy.
E= Edge.
It some what becoming smokey from fires. Actual last year it was much worst. So I went across the road and put my camera on gate post and took a photo of cow pasture.
My wordless photo.
It sure making a different with the portable air condition but it runs all the time. Glad that the weather will be cooling down over weekend, hopeful we don't have to run it all the time. Not looking forward to my next electric bill.
I'm sure I would need a bigger BTU unit. But I'm thankful my friend let me use it.
Coffee is on

ReplyDeletebut, you have to let the photos to present themselves, it`s Wordless Wednesday! ;-) Happy WW! ☺
Usual I do...on wordless wednesday
ReplyDeleteI always have to tuck my edges in or I wake up in the middle of the night and the covers are all up around my neck and my legs are bare!! lol
ReplyDeleteThe a/c will cost but it is probably worth it to be a bit more comfortable.
ReplyDeleteThat is the EXACT portable AC we have cooling our Bedroom and Family Room! Thanks for stopping by!

We had to replace our whole unit a couple of years ago as it quit in AUGUST and the temp rose to almost 100 degrees in here!!
ReplyDeleteI was never so glad to have it finished!!

I'm drooling over your portable a/c. I need a little one for my bedroom. It's been so hot and muggy this summer. Sorry you've got the smoky. We have a bit of that too around these parts (but I've been lucky--it seems most of the wildfires in my state are farther away this year).
ReplyDeleteYour Wordless Wednesday picture is nice. Looks peaceful. The sky has been awful the past two days.
ReplyDeleteLove your ABC Wednesday contribution!
ReplyDeletescary pic of the smoke in the distance, and glad it's cooling down soon for you.
DeleteCan't believe how smokey it is where you live. You couldn't by with a little AC like that here in Oklahoma!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!!
We're a touch smokey, too. I'm just hoping the weather forecast for super high temperatures in the next couple of days don't mean more smoke to come. Last year was pretty bad.
ReplyDeleteI don't make our beds like that either ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a splendid, ♥-warming ABC-Wednes-day / -week

I like a nice edge on the corners but I don't tuck in the sides, just the bottom edge and then make the corner neat. Here in summer my air conditioner runs almost all the time and I don't worry so much about the cost because I need to be comfortable. Winter heating costs more so I try to do without air conditioning as much as possible by wearing extra layers of clothes and using a rug over my knees to watch TV.
ReplyDeleteI do that tucking with the sheets and then let the top cover hang over it.
ReplyDeleteIt's still hot & humid here...the a/c is on 24/7.
ReplyDeleteOur A/C runs day and night. Will welcome autumn and I won't hear that drone all the time.
ReplyDeleteHot here in Austria / Europe as well...
ReplyDeletebut what shall we do?
We aren't used to air condition here.
I am in an old house countryside with thick bricks and here it is bearable but in Vienna or our other bigger cities it's really hard to deal with the heat just now.
Hugs,

from Austria!
Thank you for you nice visit on my blog recently!
We are certainly neighbors. I also got into the 100s. As I feared, the smoke got thicker too.
ReplyDeleteI agree. It was much smokier last year but I think we had more fires burning in Idaho last year. This year I think it's California blowing over. - I'm so happy you have the little AC unit. This summer has been way too hot.
ReplyDeletesome days I'm close to the edge
