What Time It Is

Murphy fell the last of the birch in gully. Murphette been plug in last few days at our place. It most be getting cold living in her van.
I did call her therapist up.
She brought on this trouble for her self. Most of us brings on our own troubles.

Both of my clients want to go to the thrift stores. The only one we never went to was the one on far south end of Bonners Ferry.
When I was with Regis. I told him that one time my parents ask me what time I was planning to be home by. My response was "half pass a monkey ass and quarter to his balls" well I got smacked and didn't get to go any where.

Regis and I went over to the Community Thrift store. He got about ten bucks worth of items. I found a couple more items.

I got anther piece of green print fabric. Which cost fifty nine cent, about fourth of a yard.  I believe I'm getting close to have enough fabric to make anther rag rug.
Confession time I have a little trouble paying full retail for cotton fabric at $10 a yard and make something that going on floor, Then they stands on it.
I picked up a little snowman to add to collection which only comes out at Christmas.
Well my items only came to just under $5.00

Well this afternoon Carrie my other client and I went over to SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL ADOPTION

I been eyeing this purse for a while. I like the feel, color, size, and style of it. Since it was $1.50 I didn't think much on it. So I bought it.

They also have an sweater vase. With a Thanksgiving theme on it. Not sure what Murphy and I will be doing for Thanksgiving.
I have both a red and green top I could wear with it. If I could find an yellow or orange top to wear with it.
Since I only paid $3.50 for it. I sure wouldn't pay over $5.00 for anther top to wear with it. Maybe I would go up to $7.00
Second Chance Animal Adoption hasn't gotten there Christmas items out yet. I'll get a snowman there and do a blog post on my resent purchase snowman.

Eating went real well today. No naughty food.
Breakfast 2 strips of bacon and pancake with peanut butter and jelly.
Lunch left over pork ribs, yogurt, peanut butter and honey sandwich.
Afternoon snack 5 chestnuts
Dinner chicken leg,one bake potatoes with a tablespoon of ranch dressing, and a green salad with pomegranate dressing.

I'm also looking a quilting pattern. For my new grand-baby. More I look the more confuse I become. I kept hearing I should start with an simple quilt. Not sure what a simple quilt is.

Well it about time I start to eating better.

  1. I love thrift stores! But the one I go to most is Goodwill. This post has inspired me to look around and see if there are smaller thrift stores I haven't discovered yet!

  2. I wouldn't have gotten snacked for saying something like that to my elders, but the loss of their respect was enough for me to save the phrase for someone else. Here, for instance. Monkey balls fit right in. :)

  5. When my mother in law downsized earlier this summer (selling her home to move into a more senior friendly apartment) many of her belongings went to Goodwill and the Salvation Army. After I saw the help the Salvation Army provided to my neighborhood after a flood in 2011, I am more than happy to donate to them. I have gotten out of the habit of going to thrift stores, though, and I don't know why. I've found some fantastic things in them over the years. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
