Weekend Photo Hunt (artificial-fresh)

For a while they use the term artificial inflated but I haven't heard that term for a while. I guess everything is inflated unless it free.
I was fantasying if I could use some crayon and make some artificial money to buy next time we fill up...”Statement time...oh I guess that would be counterfeiting”
We made some fresh snags in our yard so the birds could enjoy. But now I should be getting some type of bird book so I can know which birds I'm looking at. I know a few birds but not many.

Next weekend photo hunt theme will be animal and or awesome

I been still slowly or maybe a little faster then a snail pace doing ceramics. One thing not using my pour table in casting ceramics sure puts me at a disadvantage. I'm limited to what I can cast. So until I get my pour table clean out. I believe I found some what of a way of improving the quality of my castings. So this way I can possible add more stuff like mugs.
I don't know if they don't make decent air compressor or not. But there been time to pull greenware from a mold an air compressor comes in handy.
Because one of our trips to the dump there where quite a few air compressor there.
Between rains I been trying to get out and do some walking if it's not a straight down pour I'll take an umbrella. It seem not many people around here don't use one. I guess there not popular around here, oh well.

I took Murphette down to Sandpoint to do some shopping. Statement time...I have to say I'm a little worried about her she had this M.R.I and she came was just sobbing because it was so painful.
Personal I've never had an M.RI but know quite a few people who had them. It seem to me it more of mind thing.
But I won't say anymore until we know something.
I was looking though the check book register and was kind of wanting to inquiry on what we spend on food. So I check out Safeway, Harvest foods, Super one, and Walmart. It look like we spend about $300.00
But I know that's not a true picture because part of Safeway is Starbucks and the only time I'm in there is when I take Faith shopping. Plus the walmart run wasn't all food either. Like I got my self some pair of shoes.
I have to say anyone of our shopping at these store is more then food. One thing people don't eat toilet paper and if they didn't eat one wouldn't have to get any...right?

Hubby and I went in and picked up our Taxes from the accountant. Well we got a good size refund from the federal and little bit back form the state.
The only reason we got a decent return was because of Bart. He is in college and it was to both of our advantage to use him in our tax return.
Plus the accountant advise us to go that way and I figure he knew more then all of us put together.
So we will send him some cash his way.
If it wasn't for Bart we would of paid in about $1,300 for my social security part for the company I work for.
If any of you are wondering why I pay instead of the company. This company is sat up as if I was a contractor worker. So I handle all the tax crap.
Some may even ask. Why claim it? I thought of doing it but the company books got audited and of course they had the social security numbers for all the employers. Then they also end up getting audited. A chain reaction.
Not sure what we will do with our tax return but one thing I know Murphy want to get the snow blower fixed or purchase anther one.
Shoveling snow is a pain.
There a few things I would like to get. Some more bulbs and flowers. Plus more fencing material so we could put in an fruit orchard. “Those darn critters”
But of course there things like property taxes, rig and house insurance that needs to be paid.

Rumblin',Tumblin'Roon About, Crawin'Like a Cock,

Woke up to snow on the first day of the spring equinox or ostre I wish there where less unsettled in the weather.
But in afternoon the rains came in.

I did semi detox for the day. If I had my way we would eat more of a raw diet but I'm not going to say anything more hash about this. A lease my hubby just doesn't base has diet on meat and potatoes. Does eat wide variety of fruits and veggies.
So earlier in the day I had cup of miso broth and ended my day with anther cup.

During mid afternoon snack. I did a drink what I call “SPROST DRINK”
Take your odds and ends of your left over fresh vegetables.
2 carrots
½ apple or ½ cucumber
(OR)
1 apple or 1 cucumbers
juice all above...
Place your juice in a blender then add these ingredients
1 banana
½ orange
small handful of parsley
1 tablespoon of lemon juice...If you have fresh lemon go head and squeeze some in.
½ teaspoon of spirulina

If one has a powerful blender such as blend-tec or a vita mix. May not need to use a juicer.

I made some Lemon Icebox cookies
2 cups of Cashews
¼ cup of agave nectar (I used honey)
2 ½ lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla powder
¼ sea salt

Grind the cashews in a food processor until a powdery meal forms. Add the rest of the ingredients and continue processioning on low until the dough forms a large ball. Measure out 1 ½ tbls size cookies out on roll and flatten into cookies shapes.
Place in freezer until firm

We finish the planting table which as one can see will be in our front window facing west. We mainly with hubby influence decided to start seeds a little later. About a week or so.

I pulled out anther box of some miniature ceramic molds. I'll pour them once but in general these don't impress me very much.
I can see possibility with the flower ones.
When I'm casting I'll add some other molds from my collection. But I want to go and take some what of an inventory what I have.
Anyhow the air compressor went kaput. So it's a thing one needs every so often pulling molds. But not every time.

We moved a bluebird box to it new location. More directed line of the back of the house. We have two cats Rosie and Ziggy who likes to hunt. I know I can't protect all of the creatures but I can cut some of the odds down.
I know they'll catch some game...hopeful more gophers.

Still hauling a little firewood once in while. This time of year we just like a small fire in the wood stove to keep the chill off the house.

Both Murphy (in picture with Bart in green hoodie) and I get excited when one of the boys comes up for a visit. Bart bought a 1996 or 97 Toyota pickup. 4 wheel drive with a 5 speed in it.
He wanted to do all the legals over in Idaho. Lot cheaper anyhow he and his brother Sawyer is living in the Spokane Valley area over in Washington.
We never bought our nestlings rigs.
So both of them worked though high school pretty much the entire time. I can't recall all the rigs they bought and sold.
Well we where nice enough and let them put there rigs under our insurance policy but they always gave us the money for it. Anyhow they had no choice in matter. If they want to use there rigs it better be insured and I had no trouble with the ideal of taking there own rig from them. Never had to.

This is Carson. Bart just adopted him. He is a cross between a German Shepard and Greyhound. His head sure has a Greyhound look.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Shoes-Spicey)

I have to say as I've age when getting shoes, comfort is the name of the game now. In my winter boots a lot people had a comment to make on the pink laces that I put in.
One time I took care of this old duffer. “He was a 100 or so” I had these shoes that wouldn't stayed tied and he would say something. My reply to him was “I guess one of these day I will fall on my ass”
he laughed.
I like this simple drink hot water add some lemon juice, honey, and cayenne pepper flakes. I don't care for flat taste food I like quite a bit of spice to it

For Next weekend photo hunt the themes are artifical and or fresh

Barking Up the Wrong Tree

Theocracy are one big joke. I was listening to a republican debate. Can't recall which one but Rick Perry was still in the race.
Candidate Rick_Santorum had spoken about how they need to get rid of the Theocracy in the middle east turn around and would more welcome a Christian Theocracy to the United States. Don't these idiots know what theocracy is.
Haven't anyone learn religion  cause all sort of crap.
Now spiritual matter is complete a different ballgame.
Editor Note...For now I know things are winding down in Iraq but other places it heating up.

Gas here is at $3.74 a gallon for regular. Not going to make a big dent in our life. I get kick out of people who talk about the keystone pipeline and oil out of Canada.
Statement time...Wake up dude it's Canada Oil not ours.
Its our pipeline and we can charge for the oil to go though it. When it get built.
Now anther twist to story...There using pipeline as blackmail but never hardly mention aquifer
“The second is that Trans-Canada, the Canadian oil giant, wants to run a pipeline through a portion of the aquifer in Nebraska.”
Question time...The refinery which is at the end of keystone pipeline is locate in Louisiana. Is actual have ties to China...Is this true?
Gee us human can last lot longer without oil then water

World population for earth in 2011 was just slight of 7 billion people
The United States has about 311 million people
Statement time...crap and they still really want us to breed like rabbits.

Lot of our safety nets like Social Security is set up so someone has repopulate the world. Well lets face some hard facts our earth is all ready have trouble maintaining her population now.
Well one thing would help if social security wages needs redone  in the upper incomes.
Opinion time...Millionaire and Billionaire should be paying right into the fund like everyone else not stopping short.
I have an opinion how things should be given to retires and others who use social security program.

Crap now back to reproduction of this plant earth. Opinion time...every male who fathers four kids ought to have a vasectomy no choice for them.
It only fair so this way the odds will be coming down on what us female might be doing with our reproduction systems.
I have no problem with male in general. I married one been with the same one for ages.
But do you think married people just have sex to reproduce...well I got news for you...they don't.

Rattling In An Airn Jug Wi' An Airn Spoon,

Between weather systems Murphy and I been doing some prep-garden things. Took part of the garden fence so we can use rototiller.

We haven't start our seeds yet. But every time we seriously think about it a non-friendly weather system shows up. Actual we got about 2 inches of snow on Saint Patrick day.

One day before Saint Patrick day my “Royal Sunshine flowerbed was uncovered of snow. I did go out and checked it out. Found some bulbs coming up.

I'm clueless why there so much dog poop in our yard. There even some big turds. Well it needs to be removed.

Murphy and I are taking our little walks about the neighborhood. Noticing more sign of spring.

We were going to have some trees remove from under the power-lines. But the power-line people suggest we leave them up as snags.
We been enjoying watching the different birds show up. Actual I been thinking of getting a bird book so I can identify the birds.
One day a different bird showed up. I believe it was some type of Thus. (Robin is a Thus). It was gray, partial red ring around it neck, tiny bit of black tips on its wing, it has sort of curve to it bill.

I don't feel like getting on my soap box and conveyance my opinion right now. Anyhow it's my blog I may give it later on or not.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Creative-Play)

Confession time...What I'm doing painting on ceramics on my dinning room table if someone else was doing this. I would be having a first class fit.
I keep looking at the smaller room to be doing my creative work in. But I seem to be in a stall mode. To change the room in to my work area.
When the boys where young I use to take them down to local fairground so they could play on the play ground equipment.
Confession time...even at my age I like to PLAY on the swing.

Next weekend photo hunt theme will be shoes and or spicy

I don't know what is wrong with my husband and me. Both of us really have a bad attitude about getting a job.
Confession time...About the whole work thing just pisses me off.
Both my parents had a good work ethics. My dad work for railroads for 50 years. “A lifer”
My mom ran our commercial berry business.

My mom her whole attitude toward money and work actual pisses me off. Anytime I had a job she was proud of me, more then usual.
I can recall different things when it came to work and her whole attitude toward making money was pretty discussing.
Confession time....I actual have empathy for my dad on my mother his wife her whole attitude toward work. If he was working she would be a little more nicer towards him. Not saying she wasn't nice to him.
.Coin flip time....But I can complete understand why she sat bounds about him drinking.

My mom didn't mind him stop in at a bar. Anything over and hour and half wasn't acceptable. Shit would hit the fan. But if he had a day off and wanted to head over to a local bar and have a drink or too. Chit chat the day away she didn't have any trouble with that.
But anything later then that...if he wasn't careful shit would hit then fan.
If bounds wasn't sat my dad would of stay longer in the bars.

When I had jobs back in high school. My dad always disprove of me working and he would shun me.

I don't think I every been total happy with any places I work. Sure I showed up at work and put on the act.
Always had high regard from supervisors. I work places every so often they would fill out a progress report and I would have high scores.
But soon as I left the place I would feel like great relief been lifted.
I felt like I would clasp into total exhaustion mostly emotional and mental.
So at time I would medicate my self.

The only area in jobs I had which called for problem solving or creativity I seem to enjoy. Maybe I enjoy a challenge in life.
Both of my parents taught me how to mange money. Statement time...One doesn't need to spend there whole pay check.
So now both hubby and I can manage on less then most. We're living right now on about $800 a month and still set a $100 to $200 a side just for those just in-case things.

This way of thinking I may have a pretty twist attitude. Statement time....I save money back just in case someone higher up in work ranks acts really up and I just walk off a job.
No I know there also so much shit in life but when it gets up above a certain point one needs to take a stand.
Longs as there been bigots. Even my family has them. I recall my Grandma Olive having a strong prejudiced against the Irish and Italians she would tell people including me “Don't get involved with an Irishman or Italian there pretty much worthless”.
Well at times I do Genealogy. I was digging up what dirt I could fine on the “Shirley” side. I possible found her Grandfather “John Shirley” came over from Ireland about the time of the Potato famine. Possible had to stay in a place such as a debtor prison.

But anther funny thing she married a man with and Irish last name. They where married for 60 years and had a whole bunch of kids,12 of them.
Statement time...I guess we can't get away from those smiling Irish eyes.
Editor note...I'm sure this is pretty much the fact but I try to get three sources so I can have backup to my claims. I just need one more.

Onything But Sleep, You Rogue, Glow'ring Like The Moon

Not sure what this all means. But I'm one who thinks dreams can have a message in it. Not saying I always get the message or the meaning of a dream.
But there time I'm sure not ready for it.
A short time ago I had this dream

There was this short lightly gravel road didn't truly notice what else was around me. There was slight rolling hill the grass was a yellow brown color possible late summer early fall.
I was with my husband Editor Note...which is rare most of my dream I rarely know the people in my dreams most of the time there strangers.
We where in small farm house.
In the living room they had some old Canadian paper money. I start to look at it. And said...”I have some old coins from Canada and some of my past family came from Nova Scottia”
Then they told me “They use to use cherry juice to make counterfeit money in Canada.”

Editor Note...I don't how I got to this part of my dream

Walking down the short gravel road and this guy got into a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Train Engine and actual he looked like the singer Freddy Fender
but he had a snobby attitude. Soon as he step in train engine I woke up.

What the hell it would be easier to post a picture and explain what I'm up to. No I haven't join the Mormon church. Mormon who been sealed to their temple has to wear there holly under garments next to there skin.
For a while I'm trying this to see if it help heal the fungus crap under my boobs.
Though out the day I sweet and my bra rubs and it becomes irradiate.
If I go without a bra my back becomes sore. Confession time...Oh how I wish my boobs where smaller.
I don't see my self posting a picture with or without bra on my blog or any other sight. This didn't bother me.
I let the weather control if I walk or not.
I use the weather as an excuse not to walk.
So if the weather isn't just so...I'm like Goldilocks in the three bear, finding something wrong with weather not to get out and move.
When the weather is nice I do get out and walk.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Power-Symbolic)

I try eat a good breakfast so it can give me power to make it threw the day. When I eat like crap I struggle though the day.
So hubby and I had some cooked Barley flakes. I add some raisin, diced apples, almonds, and sliced bananas.
Statement time...It seem like rolled oats (Quaker Oatmeal) doesn't stick with me long. In short time I feel hungry.
There all sort of symbolic things around here that is spring related. It seem like more and more things are coming up in my hodgepodge flowerbed.
Murphy went out and check the veggie garden out and notice some collard greens coming up.

Next weekend photo hunt will be creative and or plau

Weather Report For 2012 and Other Stuff

The warmest day in February was on the10th at 47.5 (8.6)
The coldest day in February was on the 9th at -9.9 (-23.2)
The average high for the month was 30.7 (-0.7)
The average low for the month was 11.4 (-11.4)
Snowfall 22 ½ inches (57.1)

A few notes about this month weather..way colder then usual saw my first robin the 22nd of the month.

I never knew how I was going to start this post. I believe that I post that Murphette want to get out this cold climate and in her condition I understand. I don't feel like listing all of her aliments but the cold doesn't help so she planning to head down to Bakersfield
Confession time...At first I actual had zilch odds her moving away.
But now my odds keep fluctuating between 10% to 30% that she will go.
Murphette really likes to spend the money. But now she is having a moving sale so she can down size.
Which she would like to do the first of every month and I been adding a few things that came from my barn/shed.

She keep changing her mind how she is going to make this move. That why my odds keep changing. First she was going to rent a u-haul with a trailer and was sticker shock on the price. “So was I”
Now she talking about over hauling her one ton early 1970 ford truck.

See she has quite a bit of her oldest daughter Aavyn stuff here and she more worried about getting her stuff down to Texas.
Opinion time...which she should of taken care of it her self ages ago.

As for my big project for last month well it was pretty much a two thumbs down. But I been puttering a way on the usual crap.
It seem strange not having the computer. I recall we live with out a computer or microwave oven. I could post what I have lived with out. Once you have something and it is part of your life it can be hard to go with out it.

I been sort of but not giving it my all. Working on some goals. The weather around here been putting a damper on some of it. Then on the other hand I been plain ass lazy.
For the month of February I didn't keep track of my spending. I thought Murphy was terrible about getting recipient back to me. Confession time.... I need to look in mirror I could do a lot better my self.
I'm still puttering with the ceramics. I can see some head way.
I took in one box of stuff to Murphy moving sale. Statement time...I just couldn't get into taking more things in.
I believe I have four boxes done up in shed of things I want and need to get rid of.
But I know they will be more.

Weekend Photo Hunt (DROP/FLUFFY)

Recently found a new use for basic H to clean my ceramic mold. It just takes a drop. But I use 3 to 5 drops in my spray bottle. “Just seem like I can't get one drop out”
This cleaning product leaves no oily sticky scum.
Fluffy White crap that falls out of the sky. I'm starting to wonder if Spring and garden seasoning is every going to show up.

Next week theme for the “Weekend Photo Hunt” will be power and or symbolic

Today Is Thursday, April 18, 2024: This Is What Happened

I was surprised that there weren't any letters to the Editor of the  BONNERS FERRY HERALD.  I guess they got it all out on social med...
