Heads or Tails (Letter "P")

This week our host skittles picked Heads and anything with the letter “p”
I first thought of lot of things that I could blog about letter “P” as I was making a mental list when I got to the word “Pray” and that was it.
My prayers are nothing fancy and pretty darn short. I figure god/dess are pretty busy listening in and who know who else eaves drops on our prays.

My prayers goes as:

Heavenly Father-Mother Earth
Please make sure those who are traveling and keep my Aunt Bea and Uncle Henry as they head to Arizona.
Comfort Pea and her friend Steve.
As Murphy and I are cutting doors for our cabinets watch over us.
Give my friend the extra strength she may need.

Some time my prayers are one liners.

Heavenly Father-Mother Earth
Thank you,
Guide Me,
Let me See it from there point

Then sometime I just listen to see how Heavenly Father-Mother Earth got to say to me.
I focus on different sense or I listen for the four element

I never end my prayer in Amen.
I end mine
The world is good…None of us can change god/dess plans.
I love…To remind my self it important to love one anther even if we aren’t thrilled how things may or may not work out.
I’m at peace…To excepted god/dess and I’m ok with it

  1. What a wonderful post. The power of prayer is amazing, isn't it!

I say my prayers every night as I'm drifting off to sleep, then I wake up the next morning hoping I didn't forget anyone.

  2. Beautiful and inspiring post.

I have a very LONG set of prayers I say each night and, if I accidentally drift off to sleep, well, when I wake up, I force myself to start all over again, because it has to be said right (I guess my bit of OCD is showing)

  10. I like how you pray to mother and father. I actually believe that the Holy Spirit is Mother Nature. It simply makes sense to me. My HoT is here, thank you.

  13. Those short prayers are sometimes called arrow prayers, becasue they are straight to the point - often the best kind.

  15. I never say 'Amen' either. It's too...religious for me.

Instead, I say, 'Mitakuye Owasin'. It's Indian and means, 'To All My Relations'.

That would be 'the whole world'. Beautiful post.
