Today Is Thursday June 4 2020, This Is What Happen

Work timing is a little off and want to get more into about different ism and American SYSTEMIC SHORT FALLS
We all know by now about George Floyd and this need not to happen. It plain wrong.
American ideology is to promote and except INDIVIDUALISM and is pretty much not even in the same ball park.
I recall before 1970's if a local Indian would enter store a lot of time it would come across the loud speaker..."Indian in aisle 7" well it might as well be saying "Clean up in aisle 7" let me tell you when Indian got any grant money, not taking about there monthly stipend. But when they had there grant money the local merchants was glad to take there money for what every they got.
Now the Indians got a casino here and now there most welcome.
What every type of bigotry it might be, it usual just doesn't stop at just one. Sure we moved a long ways but it time to move our society looking on how we stereo any group of people or individuals.
It needs to start with individuals, homes, schools and social media.

The home and or person care system in so many ways is total joke. It set up for keeping the people who needs service to be depended on it. I realize not every one is going to improve and also there those who will decline.
But they are those who will or could be less depended on others for help.

YESTERDAY POST about Regis...He been on Morphine for years, and as far as I know he hasn't been rushed to the hospital for OD. At one time he would only get a week supplies and now they give him a two weeks worth. The one week was a lot better but his medicaid made it difficult for everyone.
Regis likes to play and enjoy watching people reaction in different situation. He gives him shots for his nausea and it quite the show.
Itwould be easier to do you tube video on it. The only part I will not do is drop my pants.
Two of my client and that it, are actual about the same age as me...Liz is 2 months and 27 days older then me.
I am 1 year and 24 days older then Regis. So we all about 60
The main reason they get services in there home is mainly there mental illness.
Now back to age. I don't consider 60 and age issue. When I become 85 then I will consider it an age issue.
Regis even say he doesn't have much tolerant for pain. As for caring for his wounds he should wash his area gentle with soap and water. Nothing hard and rough.
It going to sting and the ideal of pain to him any amount, he real has an issue with it. I am also not a fan of it. But it does happen.
See here when you go to doctor about pain. They ask you on scale 1 to 10...1 being mild and 10 being serve. Well Regis says he couldn't handle a pain level of 3.
Some doctors will easily prescribe and others don't, when it come to pain medication.

Walk around the hospital block and there was a slight hill. I such felt in back of my legs.
There things we need to learn to TOLERATE and shouldn't tolerate mainly any type of  SUPREMACTIST should not be tolerate in any form.
The United States is in the second tier of being PROGRESS INDEX and supersied it was this high. This is CHART IS WHICH STATE IS MOST AND LEASE PROGRESSIVE STATE and I am in a very red, on chart it "ID"

Coffee is on

  4. I'm not good with pain either, but I have learned different ways to help different types of pain. With back pain or other aching muscles, I will rest with a hot water bottle until the pain eases enough to move around freely, then gentle exercise without too much stretching. Migraine and toothache is different, for that I need pills and I'll take one right after I eat something then go to bed and sleep. Since I stopped working I no longer have constant pain, so I'm much better off since retiring.

It is true that pain tolerance varies; I have a high threshhold. If I even take an aspirin, you know it is up around 10 and maybe over! Thanks for clarifying things aroun Regis - we your readers care!

I couldn't agree more about the education around living as a whole society needs to start from the minute a kid starts asking questions... yet I despair, for it is a fact that the human critter is like any other animal - perpared to defend against that which is unknown to it. YAM xx

  6. We're all shocked and horrified by the death of George Floyd, we're even protesting here in the UK. Isn't it dreadful that in the 21st century black people are still being treating so appalling. I sincerely hope that his death changes things but with the right wing idiots in charge of both our countries I'm not optimistic. xxx

Very interesting post. I am amazed at what you say came over the public address system about an Indian being in Aisle 7. Now if it was a bear, yes people need to be alerted. But another human? Why?

  9. Changing perceptions and racism in our world is going to be an uphill battle.from all parties! I am ever hopeful that we can get there though!

  10. I sometimes wonder if racism will ever be a thing of the past Dora, it's been forever that way.. poor Regis, as you say some people have a very low pain tolerance. Hope you have a good weekend ✨

  13. What I can't understand is WHY? This all happened for no reason but prejudices I think. Two wrongs don't make a right, but at one time after seeing his death unfold in front if my eyes on the news, my first thoght was lynch 'em. But again, that's not right either. Some, like these cops, ruin it for others. And I hate that.

  15. Bigotry is taught. Luckily, I was taught not to hate. Sad that such a thing is so prevalent, but so many people feel like they need to look down on others to make themselves feel good. There's a lack in them that need someone "below" them.

  16. That public announcement must have been both humiliating and enraging to the poor soul in aisle 7.

  17. A thought provoking read, very interesting and really made me think. Bigotry is definitely taught, so is love for all humanity. I know which category I want to be in.

  18. Maybe we are seeing the changes we knew would come from COVID-19 - we just didn't know what the changes would be. It does start with each of us as individuals, listening and learning. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  19. When I was for the first time in the States it was in 1971 visiting my aunt. I was shocked when I saw benches in the Southern States "White only" although it shouldn't exist anymore and before entering an Indian reserve there was a poster not to buy anything from them. Of course I did and they had beautiful jewelry ! Of course all had changed when we came back in the 80th but still with black people it was difficult. Most of the white Americans I met, didn't even know where they were coming from !!
