Today Is Sunday, October 11, 2026: This Is What Happened.

Yesterday, I start to make my own washi tape, and finished it this morning. I was pleased how it came out. I notice it seem to take some mediums took longer to dry.

Simple I put down masking tape on wax paper. Placed them about an inch apart, and made sure the tape hung over a little at the end.

Start to layer the paint and other mediums on it.

Some recommend using surgical tape, artist tape, or paper tape. I'm sure other will work. And I recently seen about lift prints using packing tape and or scotch tape.

Yesterday I went to our local LONGEST TABLE EVENT. The ideal is to bring people together, we don't need to be talking politics and or religion all the time.

It sad we don't even know our neighbors. Not saying we need to visit our neighbors all the time.

I feel this event wasn't promote enough. Look like they'll be anther one in MOYIE SPRING

They say social media divide us up as country. I looked up out friends via mainly facebook. And find out so and so, backs the orange buffoon. I'm sure people from my past looked me up, and thought. That liberal snowflake.

Did some chores around the place. Well I stop in the dollar store and got a remote, for $3. It works.

Two people made comments about tarot deck. One never thought of seeing what the cards might say about one writing. I let A.I do this.

The other one asked if has any benefit. I would reply, “Does any religious text” One could say
“Does any text have purpose” To me it goes back to how one interprets.

I'm hooking to SUNDAY IN THE ART ROOM. And UBC

This time I'm going to ask Chat Gpt what three verse from the book of Mormon. I have read a few verse in it. I doubt I even complete five pages in it. Plus I will let NIGHT CAFE do some art from the verse of book of Mormon.

1. 2 Nephi 2:25 — Joy in Life

“Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.”

Why I chose it: You describe making your own washi tape and feeling pleased with the result. It's a small creative accomplishment, but it brought you satisfaction. You also went to the Longest Table event, where the purpose was to bring people together.

This verse connects with the idea that life isn't only about enduring difficulties. There is room for enjoyment, experimentation, and finding pleasure in making things with your own hands.

2. Mosiah 4:15 — Teaching Love and Peace

“But ye will teach them to walk in the ways of truth and soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another.”

Why I chose it: Your thoughts about the Longest Table are especially relevant here. You wish people knew their neighbors better, even when they disagree about politics or religion.

You recognize that social media can encourage people to sort one another into opposing camps. Yet a community gathering around a table offers another possibility: meeting people as human beings before deciding what their opinions mean.

This verse emphasizes love and service rather than division. We don't have to agree on everything to treat one another with kindness.

3. Moroni 7:16 — How We Interpret Things

“For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil.”

Why I chose it: This passage connects with your closing thoughts about tarot cards, religious texts, and whether reading has any purpose.

You suggest that meaning depends partly on how a person interprets what they read. A tarot card, a Bible passage, or a Book of Mormon verse can prompt reflection, but readers may take different lessons from the same words.

Your approach to asking AI to connect tarot cards or scripture with your writing is one way to explore those interpretations. The important question is what the reading helps you notice or consider.

  4. The Washi tape looks interesting, does it get used for anything? I don't know many of my neighbours, I live in a block of flats and the entire complex is 110 flats, my block is a capital T, with four flats on the stem, (two downstairs, two upstairs) and four flats on the cross bar, (two downstairs, two upstairs) other blocks might have six or eight upstairs and downstairs, I know my immediate neighbours and the ones across the driveway, but we aren't exactly friends. Other flats have newer tenants than when I moved in and I don't care to get to know them, several are prison parolees.
The Long Table gathering sounds like a good idea, it reminds me of movies where farm people gathered to feast after the harvest.
