I thought if Musk divide his wealth up with all the people of world. We would all get super amount like over $20,000. I was wrong. We all would get something like $180. It look like it would go the farthest in Pakistan, India, and Egypt.
The three countries it wouldn't go all that far is, Bermuda, Caymen Island, and Switzerland.
It been some time I did a surname of anyone. So I'm looking into the surname of Amish, which is on my husband side.
1.
The Administrative Meaning — Most Likely:
An
ancestor who held an official
position
in their German community — a local administrator, tax collector,
or government representative in the Swiss-German cantons. A position
of responsibility
and trust.
2.
The Occupational Meaning:
Someone
specifically serving as a “Amtmann”
— a judicial or administrative officer in medieval German society —
essentially a magistrate
or bailiff
representing higher authority in local communities.
3.
The Religious Association:
After
Jacob
Amman
founded the Anabaptist Amish movement in 1693
— families bearing this surname became associated with his
followers. However given that your husband’s Amish family were
German
Catholics from Darmstadt
— this connection is almost certainly coincidental. The Amish
surname predates the religious community by centuries.
There not any well known people with surname of Amish. But there is a surname610 of Anmman which may have connection with the name Amsih. And what I found interest that the person is Jakob Ammann. , they might be connection between the surname of Amman and Amish. But my husband side family though out time, been Catholic.
Going to voice more on this comment...I like you as a Regency woman. I think Idaho sounds like a place I would not like to live. I hope the elections make things better.
Going to have fun with the Regency time period. Idaho hasn't always been this way. Since 1980 and Reagan my state of Idaho, been going to the extreme of conservative. Look like they've been population growth of 190, 610 people a 10.4% increase. These are the five states where they come from California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and toss up between Texas and Arizona.
Here in my county of Boundary our population is 13,997 a 16.1% increase.
Opinion time...It seems these people moving here is pretty much very extremely conservative.
In the state there is 649,080 Republican and 123,932 Democrats.
It look like the new comers reg as a Republican at 65% and the Democrat at 12% as Democrat.
In my county they”re 6,667 Republican, and 377 Democrats. Can't find anything on the percentage increase.
But I need to mention here in Idaho, we have what we call RINO, and with the Rino we haven't been able to shift the politic landscape

Here is the three tarot cards in play, and why
1. Wheel of Fortune — Changing Circumstances
Your opening thoughts about Elon Musk's wealth ask how money would change people's lives if it were distributed around the world. You also discuss Idaho's population growth and changing political climate.
The Wheel of Fortune represents shifts in circumstances, prosperity, and forces that can change the direction of people's lives. It reminds us that wealth and power are not distributed equally, and that change can bring both opportunities and uncertainty.
The Hermit — Searching for Understanding
You investigate your husband's Amish surname, exploring possible German origins, administrative occupations, and a potential connection to Jakob Ammann. You also look up population figures and voter registration statistics.
The Hermit represents independent research and the desire to look beyond the surface. You're not simply accepting a name or a political claim at face value; you're investigating and trying to understand the evidence for yourself.
Justice — Weighing the Evidence
Your discussion of Idaho's political direction is personal, but you also bring in population numbers, party registrations, and your observations about newcomers.
Justice represents fairness, accountability, and examining evidence before reaching a conclusion. It also invites you to distinguish between what the numbers demonstrate and what you suspect they mean. For example, population growth and party registration figures alone cannot establish the political beliefs of every newcomer.
This card asks what fairness and representation should look like in your community.

My husband's surname is a German word meaning "rural trail". But he, his parents and grandparents were all Czech. Did his great grandparents live in Germany in earlier centuries? Is there some source of 18th and 19th century family history he needs to be reading?
ReplyDeleteone more reason I could not live there is all the people who carry guns.
ReplyDeleteMy father's surname, ending in "ski" is Polish, yet he was born in Germany, and there are no further records to be found on his ancestors. my German born mother's name was Wolter, but only two generations on her mother's side are German born, beyond that they were all Swedish.
Hi, Dora! It doesn't seem right that one person has so much money. Musk's wealth is incomprehensible. It looks like you're having fun exploring your husband's ancestry via his name. My background is mostly Scottish, my husband's Irish. I like your Tarot cards. Have a great rest of October!
ReplyDeleteInteresting...where weapons rule is not my home and never has been, nor will it be...
ReplyDeleteWishing you a nice Sunday!
That's an interesting calculation about Musk's wealth divided. I didn't know Bermuda and Cayman Islands were expensive.
ReplyDeleteInteresting trivia about the surname Amish.
ReplyDeleteHere in northern Virginia, the liberals far outnumber the conservatives. It will be a fun election.
ReplyDeleteYou will NEVER get anything from Musk
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced that those moving to Idaho from California are doing it precisely because it is so red. They may tout that it's less expensive and less crowded, but I think they're sick of being around so many liberals. I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteBack in the 1980's, when we lived in Arkansas for five years, we had a Democratic governor for most of our stay (Bill Clinton) and a Democratic senator. Our Congressman was a Republican, and , interestingly, he was the first Republican to be elected to the House in Arkansas since Reconstruction. He was well regarded and served 13 terms in Congress. It's interesting how Arkansas has become what it is now-deep red. When we lived there it wasn't the case. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
