Notice I got the date and or the date of the week mixed up. In yesterday post. Well a lease I didn't get month or the year mixed up.
Murphy had his doctor appointment, they're still trying to make his breathing smoother. It some what constricted. There going to keep him on his SYMBICORT, and his ALBUTEROL. Plus they want him to around of steroids. He goes back to the doctor on the 20th of this month.
I talk to a care manger, to talk to her about a few issues, we need around the home. That would make it easier and safer for Murphy and I to be here. Bath bars is one thing we could use. And railing for our front steps. I'm sure there more we could use or need. But not at this time. First one is the bath bars.
Plus now we qualify for MEDICARE SAVING PROGRAM. It will save us up to around $400 a month. I will see someone who can help us do the bureaucracy. To make sure all my i's are dotted, and my T's is crossed. The date I see her is on the 17th. It could take up to October to get it. But once we apply it will be from that date.
I was going to art journal group over at Greta place. But timing didn't work out. So I got my gel plates. It been a while since I use them. So I just did a few colors, and few marks. To see what happen.
Not sure who kept journals and or diaries when they were younger. I found this site called AMERICAN DIARY PROJECT. I have a few small diaries from the 1800's. But I'm clueless who they belong to. My friend Quenella been keeping track of the weather for over 35 years. She wonder where and who might be interested in her weather record. I know there one in the UNITED KINGDOM.
Here is a list of other counties who has a diary project. But should contact them to see what is acceptable. ….Most of us don't think our daily lives are especially remarkable—but that's exactly what makes diaries so valuable. Future historians often learn the most from ordinary people describing ordinary days.
Whether your journal records family life, travel, gardening, work, world events, or simply your thoughts, it may one day become an important piece of history.
Before donating any diaries, be sure to contact the organization first. Each archive has its own collecting policies and may ask about the dates, subjects, condition, or format of your journals before accepting a donation.

It looks like Africa and South American don't hold place for every day diaries and or journals. But one might want to check these links.
Think I'm going to have eclair bar.
Coffee is on.

Yes, grab bars in the bath and railing on the stairs are both important. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteEven if the art group timing didn't work out, experimenting with gel plates and colors at home sounds like a nice way to unwind and treat yourself.
ReplyDeleteGrab bars are a very good idea
ReplyDeleteI sign all my predecessors with comments... today I'm not exactly at my best, everything aches from the AC that cools all day and night, I'm fed up with summer, this hellish heat!
ReplyDeleteI am happy you are getting a medicare breal
ReplyDeleteThat should help you monthly, to get that break.
ReplyDeleteThe Medicare scheme sounds helpful. I hope you can have it sorted out quickly.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine anyone finding anything remotely informative in my diaries - most world events pass me by as far as recording them goes.
I hope the meds and the medicare change works out!
ReplyDeleteThe diary thing is interesting. I'm sure some people have some great history in theirs.
I just got done typing lots of letters that my Dad wrote to my mom when he was in the army. I typed them all and put them in a book with pictures so all of us kids could have a copy. It was a long project but worth it!
Good Luck with the meds ~ Gel Printing sounds like fun
ReplyDelete~ Hugs ^_^
Thank doe commenting on my blog ~ great to see you again. ^_^
The grab bars are great for safety. I hope everything works out with the Medicare. Diaries are not my thing. An interesting post.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Blessings
Interesting on diary project
ReplyDelete...breathing with the wildfire smoke must be a challenge!
ReplyDeleteI hope the application for the Medicare Savings Plans goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteHealth problems are real problems. I hope you can smooth them out a bit.
ReplyDeleteI have a grab bar in my shower, and I love it. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteThe diary project sounds interesting. I never heard of it and now I'll have to look it up an see if we have one. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't think historians would learn anything useful from what I might write, and I never keep a diary anyway. Symbicort already is a steroid, but a mild one, mine is Pulmicort, and maybe your hubby would be better with something stronger. Does he have COPD?
ReplyDeleteBath bars here are called grab bars, because you grab onto them for support and I have been thinking to get one in my shower if I am still here after I am 75. So far I don't need them, but I think better to have and not need than to need and not have.
I’m glad your getting the help you need
ReplyDeleteI did keep a diary as a teenager. But I threw it away.
An eclair bar sounds good.
ReplyDeleteThe Medicare scheme sounds very helpful.
ReplyDeleteGrab bars are a very good idea.
All the best Jan
