Not surprise, but dis-pointed how our local primary election. Went on May 19th. I won't go much into it. But a few small facts. Those I want to send to Boise, our state capital to represent me didn't make it.
State Senator result for dist one...Hendron got 56.8%, Woodward got 43.2%. Now for our representative who goes to Boise. Razor got 64.%, Lowman got 36%. And the other representative got J Sauter got 53.9%, M Sauter 46.1%. Plus those who goes to Washington D.C is follower of Trump. My county election to me went my way.
This morning I went and had my tire checked. Got some supplies. Gas still at $4.69 a gallon. And going to eye doctor in Sandpoint later on today.
Always so disappointing when your candidate doesn't win. I'm sorry. Last time I got gas, it was $5.45 (although that was 20 cents cheaper than posted as I had reward points).
ReplyDelete...only Trump's party is represented in Idaho.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at eye doctor.
ReplyDeleteYes, good luck with the eye doctor appointment! Republicans always win here and we have the worst of the worse!
ReplyDeleteI don't pay much attention to candidates, they all promise big things and never (almost never) deliver, I generally choose one of the two major parties and hope for the best. I am sorry your country is still choosing the wrong party. Trump needs to lose.
ReplyDeleteIs voting compulsory in local elections?
ReplyDeleteSorry about the election
ReplyDeleteNowadays politics is difficult!
ReplyDeleteThere's always next time!
ReplyDeleteYou VOTED, you did your part.
ReplyDeleteHope all went okay at your eye doctor appointment.

Hard to predict who will win these things.
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed with so many elections lately. I think people have gone crazy.
ReplyDeleteI’m so sorry to hear how your elections went.
ReplyDeleteObviously people are not hurting enough yet. The prices for almost everything is going to skyrocket, and unfortunately people like you will suffer just as much as they do.
Local elections can definitely bring some disappointing surprises, and it's tough when your preferred candidates miss out on heading to the state capital. Glad you found a silver lining with your county results, though.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck either with your eye appointment.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend…
It's disappointing when an election doesn't go your way. I hope whoever got elected ends up representing all the people of your district. That seems to be becoming rarer in these times. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
