Still need to the basket of laundry down to the washer. Our washer and dryer is in the basement. Did a little bit in my May bullet journal. Had to make a few phone calls this morning. I knew I had a doctor appointment on the 14th, but didn't recall the time. Plus made an eye exam for the 20th of May. Then just light general work around the place.
The 19th people of Idaho goes and vote for US senate and our Representative, which I need to study. I have looked over our governors race. For me it toss up between our current governor, and one other. I believe six people is running for governor race in Republican ticket. I just might leave it blank. For my other state and local election I know how I will vote. Idaho is close primary state, and hopefully this can EXPLAIN IT. I'm what other might call a RHINO.
Our state capital is Boise. Here is numbers Republican verse Democrat elect who we send to our State capital. We have 35 Senate seats and they're 29 Republican and 6 Democrat. Now let look at our Representatives which their 70 of them. 61 Republican and 9 Democrat. I ask Chat Gpt if they see any major change in our up coming election for our state....No major shift is expected. Idaho remains strongly Republican, and primaries typically decide outcomes. The main changes to watch are within the GOP (establishment vs. more hardline conservatives), not between Republicans and Democrats. I had to ask about the two northern counties. No major shift is expected in Bonner and Boundary counties.
Both
are deeply
Republican areas,
and your region (District 1) is currently held entirely by
Republicans.
Recent signals show the real competition is within
the GOP primary,
sometimes decided by very small margins.
Bottom line: expect internal Republican shifts, not a Democrat breakthrough.
I'm using this comment for a response. Although I will leave no link. It someone trying I believe to sell me something....center tables from Vibecrafts are designed to fit modern living spaces with ease. Don't they reliaze this house hold is poor. Or I would rather use the term low income. My furniture and such get used. Even if we had money new cars and furniture is not on top of my list of items. Sure my flooring and counters could be replaced. Silly company don't they relies our take home income most month is at $1,183. And before fall I need to pay the 2nd half of our property taxes, car, and house insurance. I just don't see them send me anything toward these up coming bills. Silly company.
Coffee is on.
...can you vote in the republican primary? if not you have no say in Idaho elections!
ReplyDeleteIt's all republican all the time here. They are obnoxious as all get out.
ReplyDeleteThere’s something so satisfying about getting that May bullet journal ready, even if the laundry basket is still staring you down! I totally relate to your reaction to that furniture spam—it’s like they’re living on a different planet. Who needs a 'center table' when you’ve got property taxes and insurance to pay? Glad to hear you’re staying ahead of the game with those doctor appointment
ReplyDeleteStill Republican over there after all of this.
ReplyDelete👍
ReplyDeleteIdaho has always been republican and I venture it will stay that way. One of the reasons we left there 17 years ago.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you ask Chat Gpt about this election? It's very much a real people issue and "bots" are not real.
ReplyDeleteYes, very silly company.
ReplyDeleteMy center table is 20 years old and don't think I am going to replace it any soon because it is still fine unless I want to replace the whole living room furniture.
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to investigate before you vote
ReplyDeletePolitics seem to hurt everywhere - but I couldn´t do it, either. Yet, I always vote.
ReplyDeleteWe have local elections coming up. Too many people don't even bother to vote.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for the voting
ReplyDeleteYour not a rhino. That is a stupid name. You are just not Trumper. Sadly so many Republicans have changed what the party is all about. But that's how I see it at least.
ReplyDeleteSilly company...yes.
ReplyDeletePolitics is so full of drama these days.
