Today Is Sunday, March 22, 2026: This Is What Happened

Thought I would have some fun, here in blogger world. I thought I would post some random photos, from my trip. And see what night cafe can come up with. And hook them up with SUNDAY IN THE ART ROOM. Traveling and what to pack for art material can be daunting task. So I bought a few things down in Medford Oregon. And left some of it down there. Sure my Granddaughter will find good use.

I end up being at the Sea Tac air port, for little over 5 hours. It handle 25 million flights and 52 million people. That was in 2025. I rather go though Portland Oregon air port. It was little harder to find info on the airport in Portland air port. It handles about 450 flights a day. And 18 million people passes though.

Eating at the airport is never cheap.

Sawyer went to work on Friday. So I took Uber, and first time using Uber.

When leaving the Medford area, gas was right around $5 a gallon. What I been told gas in Bonners Ferry is $4.20 a gallon. My son has an electric car.

Things looked okay around the home front. Hubby did a good job of keeping it up. Yesterday I made up one my photo books. So I have one made up one of my son. But since I can't open my second subscription. I'm using chat books.

Today, around the place. Raked up some leaves and toss them over bank into the riven. And did my morning exercise. Unpacked, and did load of wash. I wash my clothes before I left Oregon.

I sure didn't miss the Maga politics. Although the county I was in Oregon. Trump won by 51.9% and Harris won by 45.5% and other candidate got 2.6%. It not to the extreme to one side. Like it in my area.

Trump got 81.5%, Harris got 16.1%, and other 1.3%.

I just found out there is petition going around my area, about restoring women health and reproduction rights. The Idaho electives taken away of lot of woman issues. And mainly the Gynecologist left the state. I'm willing to sign it.

I missed my hubby, friends, mountains, small town feel, and art. I'm sure they're more.

So I'm getting my hair cut in morning. Going to the Library to pick up a book, called The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. And go over on the North side. Stop at clinic and get a copy of what we spent over there. And the hospital as well. Get going on our tax things.

Once I get home I like to rake some leaves, clear off the table, and do walk.

Coffee is on.

  2. Airports are always busy, people coming from and going to places I only dream about. I never eat there, usually only go to meet someone coming here. I love your photos and the book with your son is beautiful.

  3. I'm a bit surprised at the Oregon figure, which I thought would have a higher Democrat vote. I think there will be some very different figures later this year.

  4. I live in a purple area of a blue state. I can’t imagine living in such a deep red area.

  6. Photo books are fantastic. I would have only a few requirements:
    1. no more than 2 or 3 photos on a page, and
    2. each page needs a date and location.

  14. I live in Oregon and over the 5 or 6 years republicans from other states have moved in and are taking over with anger and hate. It's really horrible. As for your post I really enjoyed it. The art is fabulous. Thank you for sharing with SITAR.
