I'm in southwest part of Oregon. Taking care of my sons place. He over in the Philippines, and will be back in about two weeks.
I did mange to get two of clocks set a head an hour. The one above the aquarium is to much trouble to deal with. I'm afraid of dropping and breaking something.
He doesn't have WI-FI at his home. He says buying data is cheaper. So every a few days I pack up my lap and go to a place called, GOOD BEANS. Over in Jacksonville. If I was going to move to this area, I would move to Jacksonville. Like most place it out of my price range.
One of my chores is taking care of his fishes. Plus Daisy the dog and Kit Kat the cat.
For some reason I thought I packed three pair of pants. And found out I only packed two. So I order anther pair though Amazon. Plus two books. One I already read. “The Purple Diaries” It a story that takes place in Golden Age of Hollywood. About the actress Mary Astor going to court to get custody of her daughter. Possible loosing both her career and daughter. Now I just reading “George Sands Intimate Journal” I should be done with this book this week. I will check the thrift store, and books at library they might be wanting to get rid off. Sometime the books at library they want to get rid off. It even cheaper than the ones at a thrift store. The books at our library is no longer in service. They ask for donation.
Not sure when I will blog next. But I have other things I need to on my lap top. But my guess I will check out my blogger friend. I guess it would be Thursday.
Have fun house sitting.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time in Oregon.
ReplyDelete...I hope that you are enjoying your time in Oregon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time in Oregon!
ReplyDeleteIt is great to hear from you. Enjoy your time fish and dog setting. My library has a cart in the lobby of books that have been donated that they don't have a use for, free to anyone who would like them.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a mini vacation. I hope you're enjoying your stay, even if it is house sitting.
ReplyDeleteI hope the weather in Oregon is nice, is it a pretty area with trees? I am trying to read some books too, but there seems to be little time after I have done everything else in the day.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time away from the usual daily routine. Have fun with the cat, dog, and fish!
ReplyDeleteI wondered where you went off too, have fun!
ReplyDeleteHouse sitting in OR. Jacksonville is a nice place. Been there lots. Enjoy your time here.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see this post. I hope you are enjoying your time away.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
What a great name for the cat.
ReplyDeleteI’m sure you will get lots of reading done while your there
Dog, cat and fish, sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteWell, enjoy your time away from home and looking after the pets. A change will make you appreciate your own home when you return.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are having a good time in Oregon.
ReplyDeleteIn front of our local coffee shop is a small book cupboard on a long pole. It hold about 25 books from which you can take one away, as long as you replace it with one you have finished reading. I don't always like the choices, but a week later the books on offer seem excellent.
ReplyDeleteI think Medford is where you go? Usually I don't refer to Medford as SW, because we generally don't count a lot of unpopulated eastern Oregon when we think of the state. When I think of SW Oregon I think of Coos Bay, Gold Beach, etc. Anyhow, nice you can find wifi at the coffee shop. Jacksonville is kind of a "trendy" place and probably very expensive. Kind of like Ashland. I've not been to Jacksonville or Ashland for decades however. Here, next three days we're supposed to get 3 or more inches of rain.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've got your hands full with the 'zoo' and that clock over the aquarium—I don't blame you for leaving that one alone! Enjoy the peace and quiet (and the books) while you're there.
