Cancel one of my credit card. I'm not a fan at all of doing anything that comes close to Bureaucracy. It makes my body hurt. From the stress of it.
Well it went real smooth. That account is no more.
Went to town to the six hour sale. Part of the six hour sale I picked up 3 lbs on bacon for $ 12.98 and 2 pound block of cheese $3.95. Sure they were a few other things I got.
Before I stop at the store. I stop at my friend Lolita. And want briefly talked to her about making a photo book for her 80th birthday party. I was there yesterday, and showed her one of my photo books. But after I left the ideal came to me about other people contribute. So we will be sending the picture to her one daughter, Lisa.
All of the people I mention in my blog has an pseudonym. When I came up with my friend name for my blog. At that time I never thought of that novel Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov. I never read the book. I won't say I will never read it. But I sure won't put any effort in getting it. My friend Lolita was born in 1946 and this book came out in 1955. Statement time...In truth my friend actual middle name is Lolita. I wonder if her mother would gave her that for name if she was born after 1955.
Coffee is on.
No, I doubt she’d have that name now, given what the book is about
ReplyDeleteWhen blogging was newer, I used pseudonyms, but I don’t bother anymore. I think we’re pretty safe in our little blogs. I still don’t overdo surnames, however.
ReplyDeleteI too used pseudonyms but now not so much. There is so much information about each of us in the interweb I hardly think it’s worth it. Kinda like locking the barn door, after the horse has bolted
ReplyDeleteI still use pseudonyms and it gives me a lot of blogging freedom, which I used to take advantage of but now I a more temperate and measured with what I now write.
ReplyDelete...2 pounds of cheese for $3.95 is amazing!
