Quite please how the day went. Got my to do list completed. The main thing I want to complete was to mop the foyer, and both bathroom. The floors was quite dirty.
They're a 12 hour bake sale at Super One. We ended up spending $72 dollars. Plus found a package of pork chops with $6.00 coupon off. So for 2.12 pound a chops would of gone for $12.68, and we paid $6.68. I also got $20 back in change, $15 of it will go to the senior meal donation. I ate there on Wednesday and had all that much cash on me. Usually for the water color class I do on Wednesday I put in $3 in the pot. So Murphy and I will be eating lunch of Friday.
I'm cutting up my second round of journal, story, and or writing prompt. If you like to contribute I would be appreciate it. The first prompt I cut out this evening was “Include Imargery of Crystal-clear vs. Cloudy ice. Consider questions of memory, isolation, truth-seeking, and emotion barriers. Now for the last one I cut out. “The Tenth Generation-Write a short story about a child under a curse that lasts ten generation. How do they stuggle with their community's rejection, and is there a way to break free?
I hope to get anther set of 60 done. Then I will move on to my art prompts.
For a veggie tonight dinner, we had beets.
Glad your to-do list is completed. All the best for the journal.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me that I still have a to-do-list that needs to be completed tomorrow :-//
ReplyDeleteYou’ve been busy
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day. How about, the sheep are always listening, silently as they graze, what do they know but don't tell?
ReplyDeleteYou have way more energy than I do, Peppy!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking this morning of a to-do list. Now I know it will be done.
ReplyDeleteAlways a good day when the to-do list gets completed.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice when a to-do list turns into a to-done, list.
ReplyDeleteI find having a to-do list is helpful, and always nice when you can tick them off when it's done :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I don't bother with lists but my floors need mopping too, though I also need to vacuum first to get up all the cat hair.
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm back from our trip and am ending my blog break – although it will probably be a while before I'm "fully back" 😊😉
ReplyDeleteGreat that you've completed your to-do list, you can be proud of yourself.
All the best after my long blog break!

That's a massively good shopping trip! Well done! I love a finished list!
ReplyDeleteI like beets
ReplyDeleteNice deal on the pork chops. Something I rarely buy, as I find them hard to cook where the pork isn't tough and or dry. I LOVE pork tenderloin and find it easier to cook with a better outcome. I like beets, but hubby doesn't, so it's something I never cook, but often if we're out for dinner and a beet salad is available I'll order it. I'm no good at writing prompts, but the first thing I thought when you said clear and cloudy ice was making good cocktails. At home, it's very hard to have clear ice. I've been told if you fill you cubes with hot water, let it cool before freezing it will be more clear than cold tap water. I've tried it a number of times, and nope....no difference. I've been visiting everyone on my blog list to catch up, as it's been too many months since I've blogged. It feels good to get back into it.
ReplyDeleteSandy's Space
Sounds like you got lots done! A bake sale? Now I'm hungry!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea for a short story. I may steal it for another noir genre detective blog. “The Tenth Generation Curse"-Write a short story about a child under a curse that lasts ten generation. How do they stuggle with their community's rejection, and is there a way to break free?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been busy, but a day well spent. Have a great week ahead!
