Slowly getting used to my new lap top. I know in the past I talk about getting a chrome book. I didn't. One thing I wish I didn't get is the anti glare screen. It on the dark side. But I'm guessing there is way to fix it. Well I got the time fix. There a still a few small issues to do on this lap top. I will probably take it in to the library.
Recently I been working on Artist Trading Cards. Not all of them but I been basing some on one of my tarot deck, WILD WOOD TAROT.
🐦 The Wren in the Wildwood Tarot
In the Wildwood, the Wren represents humility, small but powerful wisdom, and messages carried on the wind. The wren sings even in the darkest winter, reminding us that strength and truth don’t come from size or force, but from voice, clarity, and persistence.
🔮 Rider–Waite Connection
The Wren corresponds to the Page of Arrows (Page of Swords) in the Wildwood system.
-
Page of Swords = curiosity, alertness, messages, the student of truth.
-
Like the wren, it’s watchful, quick, and attuned to subtle signs.
🌞 Upright Meaning (Wildwood + RWS blend)
-
Messages arriving — often through intuition, signs, or conversation.
-
Staying alert, noticing details others overlook.
-
The power of the small voice — speaking truth gently but clearly.
-
Curiosity, a beginner’s mind, willingness to learn.
-
A reminder that even quiet energy can shift things when persistent.
🌑 Reversed Meaning
-
Gossip, idle chatter, or miscommunication.
-
Speaking without listening — words used carelessly.
-
Mental restlessness, scattered focus, lack of grounding.
-
Feeling too small, overlooked, or doubting your voice.
-
A warning to be mindful of how information is shared or received.
✨ Spiritual Meaning of the Wren
-
Humility & Sacred Smallness: The wren shows that no being is too small to carry wisdom.
-
Joy & Song: Singing even in winter, it represents resilience and hope.
-
Messenger Between Worlds: Its quick darting movements and song link it to spirit communication and omens.
-
Community: Wrens often live close to people; they remind us of the sacred in the everyday.
👉 In short: The Wren is the Page of Swords in spirit’s clothing — sharp-eyed, light-footed, a messenger of truth. Upright, it urges you to stay curious and speak with clarity; reversed, it warns against gossip or scattered thought. Spiritually, it carries the wisdom of humility, persistence, and joy.

ReplyDeleteGood luck working out the bugs of your new laptop. And have fun making your ATCs. Happy October too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad things are going mostly good with your laptop!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a nice weekend.
ReplyDelete...bugs are never fun.
ReplyDeleteLovely drawing! Have a lovely weekend and a wonderful October!
ReplyDeleteYou’ll get the hang of it.
ReplyDeleteYes, everything is so expensive now.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got the time fixed. The donation cost seems high, but they have expenses to cover just like everyone else.
ReplyDeleteHope you get your laptop-issues fixed. So annoying!
ReplyDeleteGood to start understanding your new laptop. Every time I buy groceries I note the price of what I'm buying. Every time it has crept up. Our electric cost has increased also.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done an ATC in ages. This is lovely and I really appreciate the backstory/breakdown of it.
ReplyDeleteBreaking in a new laptop is always fun. You will keep finding things for quite while that surprise you. Widows 11 is great when it comes on a new computer.
ReplyDeleteGood to know what the wren means in the tarot world.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a little while to get used to a new laptop.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure with yours. At the bottom right on the laptop where WiFi and sound are, I can adjust the brightness of the screen. On the tablet, it's a swipe down bar from the top. On both devices, in settings I turn off auto adjust screen so that only manual adjust screen works.
ReplyDeleteHope that helps but not sure where your stuff is on yours.
Some of our stuff even have a little sunny icon above the numbers across the top of the letters. Press that and I can adjust brightness. Also a little icon on the side too, allows the same.
Happy you dropped by for Art For Fun Friday
