Murphy and I went to Spokane, and my friend Lola took us over to their senior center. Me, personally I like something better at ours. And yet I notice things they like about there's.

I had every intention to post yesterday. I tried to load up a few photos, and guess what. It was a "No Go" I got out an UBS card ...
Sadly we don't like much about our Senior Center, the lady who runs it is super crabby.
ReplyDeleteWe had crabby lady that mange it. She retired I'm guessing 5 years ago.
DeleteIt's good to explore the various senior centers. Makes you appreciate yours all the more.
ReplyDeleteWhen I die, please bury me, dont send me to a senior centre
ReplyDeleteI have never been to a Senior Centre and I'm not even sure we have them here. We have old people homes where really elderly people live, but other people can't walk in and get a dinner or join the games or whatever they do there.
ReplyDeleteI go with River, no idea if we even have such institutions!
DeleteI am not sure if there's a senior center in our city...
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to see how other cities do things!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have one here.
ReplyDeleteThis morning spouse and I were talking about looking at retirement villages, at least in the next 2 or 3 years. But I don't know if they have social centres attached or if the residents have to find their own social life elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteSeniors’ centers do great work in your country.
ReplyDelete...Dora, that's how life is!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home.
ReplyDeleteGood to have those Senior centres
ReplyDeleteYes, senior centers are good
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you get to see other centers. That's neat.
ReplyDeleteI think its good that you got to see other senior centers.
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK there are various senior lunch clubs available, depending on where you live.
All the best Jan
I went to our local senior center once. Never returned. But we do have others in our county - I've just never gotten around to it. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWe don't have one in this community but they are around .I'm sure it's nice to be home.
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful that you were able to have this experience!
ReplyDeleteHello Dora, best regards and thank you for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteI like coffee. :)
It is always interesting to visit a new place like a different senior center and see how it compares to your usual spot.
ReplyDeleteEven if you prefer yours, noticing the little details they do well is a smart way to appreciate what others enjoy.
I hope that first cup of coffee is tasting good and giving you a great start to your Monday.
