No need to post daily. I'm smelling something sweet. Plus it my sweet snack day. The summer heat have arrived. I know I didn't call it in.
Paid all the June regular bills. Plus rig insurance for the next six months and the stickers for my plate on the Subaru. 25 years ago stickers for car cost around $30 a year. Now we pay $55. I had 3 medical bills to pay. I paid on them. I send a hair over a third of the bill. Medicare picked up quite a bit of it. They take about $185 out of my retirement check for Medicare.
Did some painting yesterday. A little later on I will work on my creativity.
Murphy and I started some cutting from Maple trees. One is Autumn blaze, and the other maple the type isn't coming to my brain. Just finish reading A Flower Fairy Alphabet. By Cicely Mary Barker. Got a book coming to our local library though the inter-library loan program. So I'm waiting for THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LAND, But our library does have some Neil Gaiman books. Our library is 8,000 square feet. My guess 4,000 on the main level and 4,000 on lower part. Looks like our library has about 34,000 books on it shelves.
Those bills, registration fees, whatever, always go up. Your blog post reminded me that I need to get some bills paid. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGood to work on your art
ReplyDelete...Cicely Mary Barker's Flower Fairies are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI have bought a couple of books recently, I wish my local library was larger. When I am finished with the books, I will donate them the library.
ReplyDeleteOne thing about the bills, they keep on coming. I was hoping they would retire too!
ReplyDeleteSigh, Neil Gaiman. Turns out he's not all that great of a human being. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteSigh. Bills.
ReplyDeleteI heard some troubling things about Neil Gaiman recently.
ReplyDeleteI hope the tree cuttings do well. I can't read Neil Gaiman, his writing doesn't make sense to me.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the medical bills. We do get medical bills, but not for doctors visits or hospital stays.
ReplyDeleteThat medical cost is a lot to lose from your pension. It is so different here.
