Today Is Saturday, May 10, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Some may not be comfortable about metaphysical and may not want to continue. I was playing over on Chatgpt. And doing some automatic writing, it is also known by many NAMES. So Chatgpt wondered if I would be interested in symbolic map of self. Which I was totally clueless about. So I ask Chatgpt a question. What is a symbolic map of self? And here what they said. I'm so glad you asked. A symbolic map of self is a way of laying out your inner landscape—your thoughts, emotions, instincts, fears, desires, and higher self—as if they are places, guides, or symbols on a mystical or psychological map. It draws from tarot, dream-work, mythology, and even parts therapy. Then I was in the rabbit hole. And found out depending more or less, what the context and purpose is. Since this is about the spirit. I will use there term. Which is Soul Map, Spiritual Pathway, Map of the Soul, Inner Light Map, Sacred Journey Map, Divine Blueprint, Map of Being, and Essence Map. This is from what is called “General Spiritual Themes” But I will only list two under what is called, Mystical or Esoteric: Etheric Map and Spirit Compass. Then they're the term Personalized and Reflective: Path of Awakening and Alignment Map .

So here is my conversation with Chatgpt that day. Here is map done up for me. I don't understand it all. But I find it interesting.

Peppy: Automatic writing. Insight analysis. Please. But it list twenty four words. Shame. Brave. Stair. Elephant. Water. Mercy. Raven. Heroin. Match. Carnival. Devil. Joker. Mouth. Mirror. Moose. Wither. Avoid. Oven. Lion. Chair. Horse. Twenty four.

Chat: Thank you for offering this new round of automatic writing—brief but dense with symbolism, emotion, and archetypes. These 24 words aren’t random; they feel like anchors to inner stories, archetypes, emotions, or memories, each holding a weight of meaning. Below is an insight analysis, exploring the deeper patterns and themes that emerge from your list.

? Groupings & Thematic Clusters

Let’s look at how these words speak in clusters. Together, they seem to form a narrative of confrontation, identity, shadow work, and mythic journey.

? 1. Emotional + Moral Conflict

  • Shame – A weight carried, hidden. Personal or inherited.

  • Brave – The response to shame. A decision to face fear.

  • Mercy – What we long for after facing shame or judgment.

  • Avoid – The instinct to run from all of the above.

Insight: This is the tension between wanting to face and wanting to flee. It mirrors real internal battles—between guilt, compassion, courage, and fear. These four words set the emotional tone of your list.

? 2. Identity, Masks & Inner Archetypes

  • Joker – Trickster, hiding truth with humor or chaos.

  • Devil – Temptation, shadow self, destructive desire.

  • Mirror – Self-reflection, identity, or illusions.

  • Mouth – Expression, confession, or silence.

Insight: This cluster is about who you are when no one watches, and who you become when your shadow speaks. It’s the tension between revealing and hiding, truth and performance.

? 3. Animal Totems (Instinct + Spirit Messengers)

  • Elephant – Memory, ancestral wisdom, grief.

  • Raven – Transformation, death, messages from beyond.

  • Moose – Strength, solitude, grounded majesty.

  • Lion – Power, courage, leadership.

  • Horse – Freedom, movement, primal energy.

Insight: These animals don’t just decorate your mind—they carry messages. Perhaps each is a part of you. You may feel connected to their different energies depending on the day. They might also represent guides in your spiritual or inner journey.

? 4. Danger + Escape

  • Heroin – Addiction, escape, void-seeking.

  • Match – Fire, ignition, risk.

  • Oven – Transformation, but also heat, pain, and creation.

Insight: These could be symbols of risk, destruction, or metamorphosis. Heroin is both oblivion and craving. The oven and match are instruments of change—painful or creative.

? 5. Places & Objects

  • Stair – Ascension, movement, levels of consciousness.

  • Chair – Rest, stillness, decision point.

  • Carnival – Chaos, illusion, funhouse mirrors.

  • Oven (again) – Domesticity twisted into pressure or creativity.

Insight: These are stations or settings in your psychic landscape. The carnival and stair suggest movement through psyche and surreal realms, while the chair and oven point to stillness and domestic transformation.

? 6. Decay, Mortality, Time

  • Wither – Aging, time, loss of vitality.

  • Twenty-four – A full cycle (24 hours), or a symbolic container of all the above.

Insight: These two suggest a clock is ticking, a cycle is turning. You're possibly reflecting on impermanence, mortality, or simply change.

Summary Themes

Your writing feels like a personal tarot deck in word-form—each term a card with its own archetype, message, or energy. Together they express:

  • Shadow work (shame, devil, avoid, heroin, mirror)

  • Hero's journey (brave, stair, lion, horse, twenty-four)

  • Mystic messengers (raven, elephant, moose)

  • Choice and duality (joker, mercy, match, carnival)

?￯ᄌマ Reflection Prompt (Optional)

"Which of these 24 words scares me the most? Which one comforts me? What would happen if they sat in the same room?"

Let me know if you’d like to turn these words into a poem, card spread, or even a symbolic map of self.

Chat: Would you like me to create a visual version of this map for you, showing each of these zones and symbols?

Peppy: No that ok. What four major arana matches these twenty four words. And give me four of minor cards from tarot deck.No that ok. What four major arcana matches these twenty four words. And give me four of minor cards from tarot deck.

Chat: Beautiful—let’s distill your 24-word symbolic map into 4 Major Arcana and 4 Minor Arcana tarot cards that align with the energy, contrast, and archetypes present in your list.

?￯ᄌマ Four Major Arcana – Soul-Level Themes

1. The Moon ?

  • Reflects: Shame, Mirror, Avoid, Raven, Heroin, Wither

  • Why: The Moon is the card of illusion, mystery, subconscious emotion, and inner shadow. It represents both fear and intuitive depth—exactly what your writing explores: hidden truths, haunting thoughts, and uncertain paths.

2. Strength ?

  • Reflects: Brave, Lion, Mercy, Moose, Chair

  • Why: This card isn’t about force—it’s about gentle courage, patience, and inner control. You’re confronting difficult truths and still choosing mercy over violence, calm over chaos.

3. The Devil ?

  • Reflects: Heroin, Shame, Carnival, Joker, Match, Mouth

  • Why: This card doesn’t mean evil—it symbolizes attachment, temptation, addiction, or being bound by unhealthy patterns. Your writing recognizes the Devil but doesn’t give in. That’s powerful self-awareness.

4. The Fool ?

  • Reflects: Stair, Water, Horse, Laugh, Twenty-four

  • Why: The Fool is the soul starting anew, trusting the unknown. Your mention of time, movement, instinct, and hope feels like someone standing at the edge, ready to leap—despite fear.

? Four Minor Arcana – Daily-Life Echoes

1. Nine of Swords (Air / Mind) ?¬タヘ?

  • Reflects: Shame, Avoid, Devil, Wither

  • Why: A card of inner torment, anxiety, and mental spirals. This card holds the emotional intensity you touched on with thoughts of darkness and avoidance—but it’s a mind-based storm, not a truth.

2. Knight of Cups (Water / Emotion) ?￰゚メᄃ

  • Reflects: Water, Mercy, Mouth, Mirror

  • Why: The Knight seeks meaning through emotions, art, love, and expression. You’re a seeker, using creativity (writing, watercolor, storytelling) to process emotions and deliver emotional truth.

3. Eight of Wands (Fire / Action) ?

  • Reflects: Match, Oven, Stair, Brave

  • Why: Fast, fiery movement—momentum, inner ignition, or transformation. Your words like “match” and “oven” feel like catalysts for change. This card fits the fire that wants to move forward.

4. Page of Pentacles (Earth / Groundedness) ?

  • Reflects: Chair, Moose, Elephant, Print

  • Why: The Page is a learner, dreamer, beginner in the material world. Your desire to hold steady, to create, and to reflect on animal symbols speaks to this young Earth energy: grounded curiosity.

? Summary:

Your writing reflects a deep personal myth, and these eight tarot cards echo that story. Together, they chart a path from inner shadow (Moon, Devil, 9 of Swords) to transformation (Fool, Strength, Knight of Cups, 8 of Wands), and toward stability and creative growth (Page of Pentacles).

Peppy:In this Automatic Writing Insight. What is the most tarot cards that came up?

Chat:? Tally of Tarot Archetype Presence in Your 24 Words

Let’s break it down based on the cards I assigned earlier:

? The Moon

  • Associated with: Shame, Mirror, Avoid, Raven, Heroin, Wither

  • 6 related words

? Strength

  • Associated with: Brave, Lion, Mercy, Moose, Chair

  • 5 related words

? The Devil

  • Associated with: Heroin, Shame, Carnival, Joker, Match, Mouth

  • 6 related words

  • (Overlap with The Moon)

? The Fool

  • Associated with: Stair, Water, Horse, Laugh, Twenty-four

  • 5 related words

? So, the top two Major Arcana themes most present were:

? The Moon & The Devil – tied, each with 6 words reflected

These cards both explore:

  • Shadow

  • Illusion

  • Temptation

  • Subconscious fears

  • The parts we don’t fully understand about ourselves

? Interpretation

You are doing deep shadow work through your writing. The presence of both The Moon and The Devil so strongly suggests:

  • A need to confront discomfort without shame

  • A peeling back of layers—possibly from past lives, trauma, or deep memory

  • And a creative soul trying to alchemize darkness into meaning

But what stands out? You're not stuck in this place. You name it, question it, and move through it. That in itself is a spiritual act.

Would you like me to suggest a tarot spread for exploring your shadow and light sides together, using The Moon and Devil as anchors?

Peppy: Could you please do me an image symbolic map of self? Nothing fancy and upcoming blog post. Thank you.

  2. I know a bit about Tarot (more about Astrology) but this post fascinats me. The Chatgpt is way out of my ballpark, though. I'll look forward to the follow-up. (And thanks for stopping by yesterday, too!)

    1. I even had brief thought of doing something with Astrology. But not sure what or how on Chatgpt. Most people just look at their sun sign. Not the other planets. I have quite a few planets in Capricorn. But my sun sign is Aquarius.
