Today Is Wednesday, April 9, 2025: This Is What Happened.

It been sometime since I taken part in the online party, WORDLESS WEDNESDAY. Not doing much with photos at this time. Still need to set up and appointment with the library to look at why my lap top won't read my thumb drives. So not taking all that many photos. But this one was taken earlier this year. Things was melting, but the ground was still frozen.

One thing I like to take part in on line party. It chance to meet new bloggers. It impossible for me to visit all the parties.

Went for a morning walk. My pace was on the slow side. But the main thing I got my walking in. Plus I only a few pages in book I was reading, FLIGHT. A story of your native American who is in our foster home systems. And needs to find a stable home. During the time he get in trouble not because he is bad person. Because off his situation. We can read his adventure as he is ASTRAL PROJECTION.

Tomorrow, I will go up to Katka to visit Qunella at her place. But first I want to drop off the book I got from the library. And also set up appointment to see why my laptop isn't reading some of my thumb drives. One of Qunella favor authors is GEORGETTE HEYER. See Qunella reads the same book over and over. There only few books I read more than once. It could be counted on one hand. By the way it would drive me nuts to read and or watch the same book over and over. Some time I will drive a different route. Also I'm surprised I'm not on my 5th husband or something. I did check it out and found out our library has most of the Georgette Heyer books. My first pick would be ARABELLA, and THE GRAND SOPHY, then my final choice would be FREDERICA.

Coffee is on.

  1. on your 5th husband? I don't think so. Most people find it takes enough effort to cope well with one spouse.

  2. I hope the ground unfreezes and you can enjoy spring.

I chuckled over the fifth husband comment. I get it. I can't read a book over either. Once is enough.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  5. But if it's a good book...? Some books are one and done, but some books I can reread. I get in moods where I don't want something new (hit me hard in 2020). And I can't trust myself to not stay up until 4 AM on a school night reading something new. But a book I know how it ends? Much easier for me to put down.

  6. I do reread books I really like. Sometimes you get more out if a book the second time.

  7. Our snow is almost gone. Our local dog park is too muddy yet to go to. I am also walking slowly every day with my dog. If I take different routes he has new things to sniff which slows him down.
I hope you solve your thumb drive problem, it must be frustrating

  8. I rarely read a book over. Too many books to read as it is and not enough time.

  9. I don't reread books

  13. I really enjoyed reading your Wednesday reflections—there’s something so comforting about the rhythm of your day. It’s wonderful that you're still getting out for walks, even at a slower pace. That fresh air and movement make all the difference. Flight sounds like a powerful read, and I love how you describe the young character’s struggles with such understanding.

Your plan to visit Qunella sounds like a nice break in the week. I had to smile at your comment about re-reading books—I’m with you, I usually like to keep things fresh. But Georgette Heyer is a great pick, especially Arabella and The Grand Sophy—those are full of wit and charm.

Hope your laptop appointment goes smoothly and that your thumb drives behave. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your day—it feels like catching up with a friend.

  14. It’s been a while since I joined the online Wordless Wednesday party—but here’s a quiet moment from earlier this year. The snow was melting, the ground still frozen, and everything felt suspended in time. ❄️✨

Not snapping many photos lately (thanks to tech hiccups), but this one reminds me how beautiful the in-between moments can be.

Need a little warmth in your day? Swing by Wendy’s for a cup of their hot, comforting coffee—because some days just call for a good brew and wendys hot coffee

  15. Do you still have a lot of snow up there? We actually got a few bonus snow days down here in the valley. It wasn't enough to shut anything down, but it was enough for me. I miss my snow! Are you still painting?

  16. A nice photograph.
I like reading and I do re-read some of them.

    All the best Jan
