Neither I or my husband spend any money yesterday. We took part in economic blackout. Trying to find out the status on it.
Slowly getting photos of my laptop, onto a thumb drive.
Took a short walk today.
Stop at the thrift store. Spend seventeen cents. And let them keep the change. This thrift store helps animals.
Went to art insight journaling. At LORE
Start to set up the month of April in my bullet journal.
Coffee is on.
April? I’m still working. On February
ReplyDeleteI don't think we Australians do Economic Blackout day, but I remember on the day all I bought was the daily newspaper.
ReplyDeleteGood for you taking part in the economic blackout.
ReplyDeleteDuring the years of Covid, I spent no money whatsoever on clothes, fun activities, sport or even books. We didn't leave the house very often in those 3 years and therefore had little reason to spend money.
ReplyDeleteBut after the lock downs ended, the economic blackout stopped. I went and bought 5 pairs of undies and 5 gorgeous shirts!
Spring is on te horizon! Yay!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy month of March.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
...I bought deli meats at a small local store. Was that OK?
ReplyDeleteHWSNBN has instructed the US mint to stop making pennies. Very carefully within the scope of his authority, he didn't end the penny, he merely stopped making more. Those three pennies probably bring more value to the cats and dogs than anything else.
ReplyDeleteWe observed no buy day, as well.
ReplyDeleteI participated, but had an Amazon delivery that day. Maybe that wasn't a true participating, then. I wonder how well the blackout did. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't hard at all for me to participate in the buy nothing day because these days I rarely buy anything. Paying the electric bill each month is all I can handle. I can't even believe how much the rates have gone up.
ReplyDeleteWe did have to buy a few things yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI didn't spend any money then either. I waited until today to do the grocery shopping.
ReplyDeleteI participated, too. I also wonder how it did. It'd be nice if someone would give us an update.
