I compare flights down to Medford this spring and/or riding Amtrak. Sometimes Amtrak is cheaper and has lots more legroom. On the train. But the website for Amtrak is giving me trouble. But then there is the issue of where the train starts and stops. We would begin at Sandpoint a little before midnight. And our trip would end in Klamath Falls, if I recall, around 9PM. Which is a distance of about 80 miles. But to catch a flight, we must drive to Spokane is 100 miles. Something will work out.
Regis and I use the same doctor. Except he sees her a lot more than I do. Once a year to a doctor is enough. Regis thought he should see her once or every other week. She thought once a month was plenty.
We sure had plenty of snow. But the rain came. Now the side roads are an icy mess and slushy. A pain to drive in. But the highway is excellent.
Now we worry about avalanches and floods. So it's good to stay out of the mountains right now.
I'm doing good in my well-being goals. Which includes both physical, mental, and spiritual.
But in the last few days, it has been lessening. As for weight loss, I have started to use FAT SECRET, and I like to keep my calorie count around 2,220, and I lose about a half pound to a pound a week. Before, I would try to keep my calorie count just under 2,000, and I would be ok for a few days, and then I would be hungry. Then become hangry No fun to be around.
Driving in icy conditions would really frighten me. But then again I guess you guys do it every winter. So your experts Stay safe
ReplyDelete21 hours by train after a 40 minute car trip. But how would you get from Klamath Falls to Medford? It is a 90 minute drive. At 11 hours car trip, home to Medford, take turns driving, I think that is what I would do. I am a great believer in using public transport, but it just doesn't seem practical for your trip.
ReplyDeleteLove the art today! Once a year is enough of the doctor for me too.
ReplyDeleteYou have to find a way to not get hangry. That does you no good at all.
ReplyDeleteTrains are comfortable, but outside of the east and west coast the schedules can be painful.
ReplyDeleteNice art
ReplyDeleteIt is snowing here again. I am about over it. Hope you work out your travel plans soon.
ReplyDeleteI have been seeing icy snowy conditions on the news here with terrible car crashes and people freezing to death in their cars.
ReplyDeletePlease be safe.
