This will be the only time I will be posting this week. Unless something major happen, which got my finger crossed it doesn’t. So some time between the 6th and 12th I will post.
Right now I’m working on my story for NaNoWriMo. So far I got 355 words down and 49,645 words to go.
I won’t share what I got so far. But I will share seven lines that I have written….
The time machine was the biggest thing he invented. But still they were doubters, even locally. But the Miverson club meant twice a month. On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from seven to about nine in the evening. They have been gathering quite few items over time. Main thing that helps them in their research is old journals, diaries, documents and such.
Best they figure by different accounts that the machine was ready to go in Spring of 1901.
Quite a few decorate here where my son is in Southern Oregon. They got quite a few trick or treater. My granddaughter, who is four, was looking forward to going out. House to house getting goodies. But she had some stomach bug. End up vomiting. I felt so sorry for her. I recall one Halloween when I was young. Which I had a stomach bug and missed trick or treating.
My son gave out some items to the growing up. My mom and another friend went with a shot glass and asked for a drink. I think they only went to a few places. I’m not sure where my dad was. My mother wasn’t a heavy drinker. It's another story about my dad, when it comes to drinking. Well I have to say “My dad wasn’t a mean drunk.”
As I mention in my yesterday post about possible coming a slave to my husband. Confession time....My husband does have more health issue than I do. He does watch his diet and does his morning exercises. But being on hard surface bothers him and he tends to have muscle cramps. As I'm still in the work force and he generally keep up the house. Most of time we compromise.
Coffee is on and stay safe
I'm sorry to read that your hubby has health issues. I guess most of do in one way or another. LOVED the flowers in the photos. Sending well wishes!
ReplyDeleteI think a ride in a time machine would be fun, or scary, or both! Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteI love that machine in the first picture. I don't know exactly what it is, but I love it and I want one.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Grand daughter's tummy bug. and sorry to hear about your hubby's muscle cramps too. Does he get enough calcium and magnesium in his diet?
Kestrel here, hahah I wonder how i got to comment as Beau Bo. Trying to correct this problem. Halloween is not celebrated here. Only the pubs n hotels take advantage to make this into a commercial event. Poor grand daughter must have been very disappointed to miss trick or treat. Hope your hubby health issues get better. Nice coloured dahlia (i think), can't grow them here cos it is too hot, only in the highlands. Hav a good break
ReplyDeleteOh, I do like the idea of trick or treating with shot glasses in hand. Maybe Halloween could be a good adult thing too.
ReplyDeleteHealth issues make it so hard. I’m glad you’ll be able to share the load more evenly once you retire.

ReplyDeleteAll the best for NaNoWriMo! YAM xx
I look forward to your NaNoWriMo!
ReplyDelete...I how that both of you stay well.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to do something else here and there - enjoy your writing!
ReplyDeleteI'm wishing you the best for NaNoWriMo. (My days of doing it are over) Your genre is Steampunk? (just guessing). Remember, you don't have to worry about any editing. Just keep writing. Write something. Anything. If you get a block write about your life or something else-anything else. Even your grocery list. If your plot seems to be going nowhere just make up another plot. No one is watching over your shoulder. The editing comes later. Thank you for sharing that little piece of your writing. I am pulling for you! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThe machine in your first picture looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the flowers too.
Take care.
All the best Jan
I've retired and am home a lot more. The wife teaches more exercise classes and is free to say because she misses having the house to herself. Plus our son is home now.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea with the time machine, bet the wee one would jump right in to join trick or treating after all.
ReplyDeleteScary when sick-and weakness hits. Same here. From time to time thankfully so far only...
Oh so interesting and fascinating
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of the health issues.
ReplyDeleteTime travel is an interesting idea and a good topic. You'll have fun writing about it. Good luck with your story. Sorry about the health issues. It seems with each passing year we know more and more people with issues. My hubby will be having surgery in 2 days, so we've had quite a few appointments about that has kept us occupied. Just try to make some you time when you're feeling over whelmed about your husbands health issues and what extra's you're doing.
