I'm sure your wondering about our read in, that CNN did on our library. I thought I would share the you-tube TAPE so you can read comment if you choose to. Will keep doing read in Now with wildfires in area. Now we have issue of air quality.
Went to town to do a few small errands and the library recall group was sitting up on highway in front of Super One. Although not on there property. County property! Nothing illegal. But not good place to get petition going on. It doesn't matter what the issue is. There location doesn't isn't a place where foot traffic isn't at all. So people who interesting in recall library board, would have to go out of there way to sign the petition. If memory service me right, they will need a little over 1,400 signature. Not sure if it same group who causing ruckus with library or not. But my guess it is. They're trying to RECALL THE CLERK. What next in our little town drama.
I start to read “The Absolutely True Diary Of Part Time Indian” So far I give it high score. It moves quite quickly. I don't like story that moves slow. Pace is important to me in any story, book or movie.
This time next year I will be only working two days a week, or possible even retire. But October 2023 I will only be working one day a week. If I'm not retired. Today I did some general picking up.

ReplyDeleteDo people go into the library just to select books they think should be banned? I think they would be happier getting something they can read, but of course these people don't see value in reading do they?
