I plan to mellow out for a bit. I been on a rant for a last little bit.
Just notice it the 20th and my grand daughter Maud has a birthday the 22nd. I got gift shoots and latter's need to wrap it up and ship it down to Medford Oregon. My guess I will actual get it out some where between next Monday and Wednesday.
My main focus was ice cream. Question time....What kind of ice cream do you have in your freezer? Right now we have strawberry ice cream. Now they have a lot more flavors in ice cream when I was growing up. My family was ice cream eaters. Now since I have trouble digesting dairy. I only have it every so often. And in small amounts. With lactose pill. Actually I prefer gelto over ice cream. When I was younger I called Neapolitan ice cream, Napoleon.

Got out anther bit of fabric to organize. Ready to iron it and than I will cut it to strips for current quilt I'm working on. And or for a rag rug, usually I was sheets, and pillow cases.

I don't have any ice cream in my freezer right now. I will buy vanilla in the summer. When I was little we called Neapolitan rainbow because my sister couldn't say Neapolitan. I remember we all wanted the chocolate part, so after a while we just bought chocolate ice cream.
ReplyDeleteNo ice cream in my freezer even though we love ice cream. Hubby needs to avoid sweet stuff and I am trying to lose weight. My favourite flavour would be vanilla but I enjoy other flavours as well.
ReplyDeleteI remember the days when flavours were limited to vanilla, strawberry and chocolate, and you could get all three flavours in one ‘brick’ which was called Neapolitan hereabouts.

ReplyDeleteI just ate my last pint of ice cream last night. It was a chocolate mix. You know, they have frozen desserts that are ice cream like for the non lactose folks. Lots of non dairy stuff.
