Even in this heat, 93 (33) I been making head way on my fabric. As hubby watch gun smoke. Sewn some pieces together. Now I need to do up 18 more, and I can than move on to next steps. I don't believe I will get chance to go though any of my fabrics. In next two weeks.
The read in is going good. I talk to the director of library and she all for the 'Read in” she going to call the police and make sure they make a few extra rounds. I told her I was planning to do one in Morning and on a Saturday. Although I'm not sure of the dates and times. Plus I told her, hoping other will hold some events.
Lot of these people who want to recall the library board is connect with AMERICAN REDOUBT. They have a WEB PAGE. Hubby and I was in town and the group was on side walk trying to get signature on there petition to get on ballot.
It seem the world is to one extreme to anther, it doesn't matter what. Bought lottery ticket to big one, billion something. If we won. We would of became citizen of Canada. Opinion time...Mostly in my area the Christian Taliban got hands in to much. Some goes to far when it comes to nationalism.

ReplyDeleteSomebody won the one billion!
ReplyDeleteWe had this heat for severeral days too, which is very unusual or should I say was unusual, because with this climate mishmash we will have these temperatures each year ! or snow in summer and heat at Christmas !
ReplyDeleteSigh. I didn't win the billion.
ReplyDeleteI bought two tickets, just in case the stars were in align for me. Ha! Waste of $4.
ReplyDeleteStay cool. Glad the read in is going well.
ReplyDeleteGosh your temperatures are high, stay as cool as you can and hydrated :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It was a very interesting read about your library and the Redoubt website. Do people not know about personal responsibility? Know what your children are reading, watching and seeing. But I can't imagine there is anything pornographic in a children's library. If Redoubt was a paper newspaper, it might have a roll in life if there is a terrible shortage of toilet paper.
ReplyDeleteGosh... if we won a billion... I can only dream.
