Decided to start with the Sunday comment receive or one could say speak more freely on them. Every one has thought on most things.
First comment I will be using comes from CHRISTINE and her comment I like to share...Enjoy the show, nice art today...The dance show was great and I like learning about different art and artist though the world.
Next comment comes from WOOD FAIRY and she left this comment...Think vlogging takes lot of time to set up-I'm sure you don't look like a basket case! I never like my photo either – I have very few picture from my childhood and would like more, only two of my mother. T.V shopping can be tempting especially if your paying with plastic:) Now your book case has been emptied of books, you can fill it up with things you like reading-from the library! I hope the lamp can be mended....Done a few vlogs and do take time. I believe more someone does things easier it gets. For me, one of the issue is stage fright. I've in been involved with theater. I never want a leading roll. Simple I was afraid of making a mistake, and size of mistake didn't matter. Or I find part of working back stage. I'm pleased how the book case is coming along. Hubby didn't get chance to look lamps.
Now for last comment. AUSSIE EMPTY NEST Here is comment and I would like share...It sound so heartbreaking to hear Liz not taking a shower. She may need a gentle, but firm push to go to her appointment, it sound like she really needs it....Liz had quite the life. From being brutalized physical, mental, sexually, and emotional. Than there quite history of mental illness in family to top it off. I visit with Liz over in our last hospital Friday and they were waiting for order to send to hospital in Kootenai county. She says she need a tune up for mental health. But getting help here in United States isn't always easier. Some states are easier than others. Not sure what the status on Liz is. I should know Monday. I hope they got her down to Kootenai hospital by now.
Time to step back in time to JULY 24 2022, it been a while since I done anything on sketch book project. Plus I want to get back to walking.
Now back to Liz for a minute. She back home and no bed came up at Behavior Health unit in Kootenai county. They can only hold her for 72 hours. But if she doesn't feel safe she can remit here self and stay anther 72 hours. There only one hospital here that actual have a behavior health floor, and that handles five northern counties. The population of about 240,000 in 8,000 square miles. Quite a bit of National forest land. It only a 26 bed unit for those over 18.
We went or I should say, we tried to go to our local landfill to dump off our trash. It was close. They keep change there hours. I just wish they where more consistent in there days and times.
Since I'm on business of county here. I might as well toss this out. One of our county commissioner wants to get rid of the property taxes. One thing runs on our property taxes is dump. Or those who own property and pays taxes we will be send a form and to be filed out. On what service we would like and not. Hubby and I could mark off let say...no school, no jail, no road and bridge, or etc. But we could say yes to fire department, library, dump or etc. Sound stupid to me.
Went to the dance program my granddaughter Claudia and Wendy was in. Claudia does tap and she was a bee. Than Wendy is in ballet and she was Madeline. Show was great. The show was basic from the golden book. Lot of those dance move I would be flat on my face.
Got my weekly goal and such put my bullet journal. I will be peg away once again at the book shelf. I'll be putting 20 minutes three days this week. I got the drawers to go though. I need purchase some plate stands for my dishes in my hutch. Once the dishes in china display on it stands and arrange it will give it more room to put in some of the other wares. Round about way I can finish putting in more book in the case.
Not sure where I will be getting the plate stands. I know dollar store in Sandpoint has them for $1.25 each. Our town wouldn't have anything like that. Than one got to consider price of gas. I will show photo a before and after one. Than there couple of small area I might stab at also before and after photo. The other two days I will be organize a some fabrics and other creative supplies.
My new bullet journal should be here Tuesday.
Today artist is JOHN PAUL FAUVES who is from COSTA RICA
I like the art today Dora. You got some very eclectic taste in art and I enjoy that.
ReplyDeleteGas here now over $5 a gallon, about $5.25. In Lebanon, a few miles from here, it's even higher. Went up over $.20 a gallon in just a few days. I have to wonder where it will end, in going up.
ReplyDeleteAh! About your local landfill. Does the council have a website where they might post the opening hours each day? You could look online so you don't waste petrol (gas) going when it is closed.
ReplyDeleteThis art is almost disturbing. I check hours online to see which days and hours the places are open.
ReplyDeletethat Costa Rican art is something different! not sure if I like it or not but thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog. I can understand your frustration with the dump. Hate when that happens. Interesting art pieces! Wonderful inspiratioN!
ReplyDeleteWow…where I live, the local government arranges for trash pickup twice a week, recycling once a week, and if you have anything unusual (like an old mattress, for example), you can arrange a special pickup.
ReplyDeleteI take my trash to the curb every Sunday night and Wednesday night.
You certainly share a wide variety of art, thank you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
