Had every plan to post, yesterday but by time I got around to post. I was in the yawning stage. So a little after 9:30 I was in bed.
Well let start off with three last week comment from my blogger friends. First one will be from YOGI and comment that was left...When I was a kid, we had family friends who got mad magazine so I would reads it there. I love it and still do...I remember buying the magazine off the news stand. I understand it just recently went out print. I like to look at some later version, see how it changed.
Second comment is from SONG BIRD and she left this comment...Gas price hit $5 here, ouch...I went into town to take care of Liz kitty cat. Gas still is at $5.10 a gallon. Talk to my son in Medford Oregon it at $5.50
Third comment comes from AM she left this comment...A productive day. A lot hurting going on now with gas prices. Our went up .20¢ in one day, right after the state/county gas state gas tax was suspended. I can say I'm looking more careful how I travel. It use to be I would my client on little trips. If there not a medical reason behind it. We stay lot closer to home. If they want to go on a non medical trip out of the area, they have flip the gas. The program my client are on they get no non medical miles. But I can paid for medical miles. Not sure if Idaho done anything about gas taxes.
Editor Note...More on med miles.
Off to Sandpoint tomorrow. Regis got doctor appointment down there. Plan to get one tote, I doubt I will get any more. I decided to put my quilt batting in tote. Plus get off the chair and the bed. I know he want to go to the game store. When he in there I will read. But we need to leave between 1:30 and 2:00 so we can make it back for his Reki session.
I guess this about good place talk about med miles. I use to go though the hoops to get med miles. So I know they need proof of insurance on rigs, registration, and driver liaisons. That easy part. But it use to be if I was taking my clients to medical appointment. I would have to call and tell them the date, time, place of medical service, and address. The address I thought it was on stupid side. They got google map and such. Than they would ask me if there was any other stops. My answer was I don't know.
If trip was over 40 miles one way they would try to find a doctor closer and usually it didn't happen. But the check would come in about 6 weeks. I wonder know if there direct deposit.
With gas prices every little bit help.
Look like smooth week coming, and hopefully I didn't speak to soon. I think Tuesday I will call and see about the med miles, after work. Monday I will be back to late. Wednesday will shorter day if weather holds I will do some weed whacking. Other than that. Who knows.
Today Artist is DAVID CERNY who is from CZECH REPUBLIC
Just amazes me how some people have to jump through hoops just to get a little bit of help.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.
ReplyDeleteI don’t do quick trips into town now. If I don’t get it when I go. I wait until the next time I’m there.
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is I am swimming most mornings again so I’m right there I just pop into the supermarkets on the way home.
Otherwise I’m happy to just stay home.
I don't like this week's art. Are there closer places you can take your clients too? Or maybe let them know you can't take them every time they want to go.
ReplyDeleteHave a great, new week. Here we usualy have doctors etc very near to home. I can walk to all of my appointments. Valerie
ReplyDeleteHope the week is a good one!
