Not sure if I decided to take a few days off from blogging. Or maybe there some other reason. We're all fine here in North Idaho.
Watched Ken Burns Ben Franklin. He is one those people I would like to have conversation with. I like people who shows both there weakness and strength. After watching his story on P.B.S. Actual I would like to read more of his writings. At age 22 he wrote his own epitaph: The body of B Franklin Printer; Like an old book, it contents torn out, And strip of his its Lettering and Gilding, here lies, food for worm. Actual it wasn't never written on his tombstone. I believe I want to see if our local library or the one in Sandpoint has this book on BEN FRANKLIN and this also on BEN FRANKLIN. But I seen different books from LIBRARY OF AMERICA that caught my eye.
Been slowly get more done on bedroom 2, but still wish things would move long a little faster. Haven't bought any fabrics for a while. Confession time...I still look. Well I just look when I'm at the thrift stores. No doubt I could take more items in.
Took a me day off, Tuesday the 5th and went to our local art club. This is something I plan to get more involved in, when I retire. We have lot of talent creative people in our community. But there unknown. Our town don't have many choices to display art. At this point we use one of banks, local hospital, and library. The bank they use I don't bank there and I actual don't go in the bank all that often. Most of my banking is done on line. The main reason I'm at local hospital is because I have to take a client there. And library has more people in and out. Possible looking at doing art show. We have a quilt show which does quite well. But our gun shows does really well.
Tax wasn't bad at all. We're getting a refund from both federal and state. This will be my last year working full time.
Plus I'm doing better in my well being.
Today artist is TOM SARACENO who is from ARGENTINA

The art pub sounds like it’s a hood fit for you. I hope you get to enjoy it more often.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you are doing better in your wellbeing and Hooray for tax refunds!
ReplyDeleteWhy does your comment box show my email address when I am typing my comment? I have never seen that anywhere else.
I hope you can get more involved with the art.
I love to go to art galleries but they’re all in the city and I’m an hour away
ReplyDeleteI look at lots of things on the net. It’s easy and even if I’m having a bad pain day I can feel like I’ve been out and about

I should learn more about Ben Franklin, quite a life. You must be learning so much on art just by posting here from all these artists.
ReplyDelete...continue to stay well.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are doing better, Peppy.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad when the gun shows do better than the art shows.
ReplyDeleteI took Tuesday off, too. You can never have too much fabric ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're doing better.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your well being is better, that tends to happen the close we get to not working. Hooray for not owing taxes, that's always good.
