Didn't know Easter was this Sunday. I don't do much on Easter. Well I eat and I assume I will have chunk of ham or lamb. We're heading down to Murphy sister in Post Falls.
I will get hold of Bart and his gang. Since there in Veradale and Faith in Post Falls. It 18 miles.
Short work day. Both Regis and Liz had afternoon appointments. I finish up the property tax stuff. Senior and such can get their tax lowered down, if there low income. Murphy and I are consider low income. We can take our out of pocket medical expensive.
Gas came down a dime. As long as Putin is being a jerk with Ukraine. I'm trying to make effort not to burn as much gas. Plus the price doesn't help either.
Found some more items, to be taken to the thrift store. Got plenty of items. I can't figure out getting rid of items that I will never use and it doesn't bring me joy, is such a daunting task.Maybe I will stumble across some more, I have 10 items in car to go to the thrift store.
A short work day is a good thing and so is a senior reduction on property taxes, we have that here too, seniors get a 50% reduction.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Easter
ReplyDeleteI only keep track of Easter in as much as our spring break is connected to it. Otherwise, I don't spend much thought on it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm getting rid of stuff I usually tell myself "I haven't used this in two years, so I don't need it" then it goes to the thrift store.
ReplyDeleteHave a good rest over the Easter days! Valerie
ReplyDeleteWe have never made much of a fuss over Easter.
ReplyDeleteEaster is a simple and quiet Sunday.
ReplyDeleteEaster is a quiet day here too.
ReplyDeleteIf I haven't used something in a year, it goes. The rule works for me. About a month before the deadline on something I ramp up my efforts to figure out a way to use it. Anyhow, have a nice easter. I only like it as a holiday for the food. Which includes the chocolate.
