My sugar eating is been out of wrack. It seems like once I place a sweet in my mouth. I complete loose control. I do get my healthy protein, fruits and veggie in. According to geneolink I tend to have a intermitted carbs thing. The other I'm curious about blood glucose, sugar intake, and sweet taste preference. Which will come at later time.
Liz is having a rough time. They like her to check her self into behavior health for a tune up. She want to spend time with her grandson Jacob. I can complete understand. It Easter and holidays like that is for little ones.

I'm hoping Bart will bring him and the family over to his Aunt Faith for Easter.
Need to figure out the priorty on my car. It not worth all that much low end $400 high end $2000. The door on passenger side doesn't work, driver mirror doesn't exist. Got some front end issues, and burn oil. I just don't see put cost in car, that you can't get back. Can't see put over $600 in it.
Went down and finish up our property tax reduction program here. Usually our property tax is around $900 a year and look like we will get $700 knock off.
When ever I can mince down prices. I will. Every little bit helps. Checked out a book from our library. All Quite On Western Front.

The three things you mention on your car are worth fixing, especially the burning oil part, you don't want your engine seized up so it doesn't run. so work on getting that done, then the other things over time and have a car that will last more years.
ReplyDeleteIn 1995 I purchased a 1995 Toyota Corolla. I drove that car for 21 years. My philosophy is to put money into a good car to keep it on the road. When the repairs cost more than the value of the car, it’s time to stop putting money into the car.
ReplyDeleteWhat finally killed my Corolla was rust. The entire exhaust system was rusting. I spent about $600 to patch the exhaust system, knowing that the patchwork would last about six months, knowing that I would not put another dime into the car when the exhaust system completely rusted out. Six months later … Trade in value of the car was $200. They sold it for scrap.

ReplyDeleteSometimes, a lot of money is spent on repair work but hopefully once everything is fixed or replaced, hopefully the car will be good for a long time.
ReplyDeleteCars are fine until they’re not. A costly fix often too. We can’t do without them in rural Canada either. Public transportation is terrible if it exists at all.

ReplyDeleteThe mirror on my driver side on my car was broken for a few years. Sometimes it's not worth the fix.
