Don't think I have much to post about, anyhow some days are like that. Well played wordle before work and didn't figure it. Yes, I know two words I will be using tomorrow. Squid and elite.
Regis and I went down to Sand point. The two main reason I promise him I would take him to Library down there. They have such a better library. Since I real don't use our library all that much. I thought of donating cash. They have donation jar in there. Right off top my head I'm not sure how much of our property taxes goes to our local library. I got three movies one about Benjamin Franklin, not the Ken Burn version. I like Ken Burn one a lot better. He put a human face on Ben. The other one new version of “All quite on Western Front” I'm considering looking at book to read. I'm not much or likely more I'm not in to tons of pages in book. The other DVD I got is on Yayoi Kusama. I ask Regis about living full time in psychiatric hospital or asylum. He said he had no desire and he been in all sort of them. Long as he been one was for three months. Since I been with him he never been. But a few times I thought he might been heading to one. Yayoi has been living in and psychiatric hospital in Tokyo since 1977. I under stand she can come and goes.
Bart came up and visit with his family. I was expecting a complete bald son. I know woman who find bald men attractive. Never though much of man hair, if it was clean or dirty. But I have a thing men in mustache and hair on there chest.
It look the shave his front part of his hair. I guess best way to explain it he has hair up to back side of his ears. Granddaughter Wendy want to take me home. I don't know how thrill Bart would have been if I end up being a permanent piece in home.
I'm sure if matters were different either Murphy and or I could live with either one of our son. They have there own life.
Not sure how often. But once I retire I like to go some cooking. Actual hubby is good cook. But I like to try to expand our culinary taste. I never had Celtic, or squab. And expand my cooking with eggplant and mushroom.
Coffee is on and stay safe

I am glad to hear Bart is doing well. Wendy must love you very much since she wants to take you home.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying something new with cooking, I learned how to make my own pizza dough and it is good, so I have a very similar recipe to try and make my own bread. The recipe has no sugar so that is good, because supermarket bread all has sugar.
Good news about Bart.
ReplyDeleteI know I have read All Quiet on the Western Front, but I have no memory of what it was about.
Once retired, you can do all sorts of cooking, as long as you enjoy it. I don't.
It takes very special sons and mothers to live together when the mum is older. I don't think it generally works well.
I like eggplant parmesan!!!
ReplyDeleteYay for visits from family. How great to see Bart!
ReplyDelete...many local libraries are poorly funded!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good visit with Bart. We have a brand new library in our neighborhood, we could walk there if we needed to but the traffic would be scary trying to cross the road, it's a 3 minute drive though.
ReplyDeleteWhen I retired I started volunteering a couple of hours each week at my local library. It was fun, and when an opening popped up a few years later the manager encouraged me to apply. So I took the test for being a library page (we put books back on the shelves) and I got the job. I love it. I work about 15 hours a week and it's so much fun. Plus I get paid for having fun. I'll go it as long as my knees hold out. Lots of kneeling on the floor to get to that bottom shelf in the children's section.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Bart is doing well. To have a daughter in law want you to live with them is quite a compliment.
ReplyDeleteGlad Bart is doing well.
ReplyDeleteGreat news that Bart is doing so well! Valerie
