Had a nice walk this morning. Took some photo. There this big ant pile and I was wondering how long it been there. In all honestly I don't know how long it been there. But ants has important part to our environment. Plus once there done the dung and such is good for soil. We have spread out old ant nest on the garden.
Today I picked our first senior food box. I thought I would never be in the situation as I am now. I had dreams and hopes my life would end up being different. Now I'm figure how both husband and I will live on social security of some where between $1,550 and $1,750. If my Aunt Eve knew about our income. She would make statement as how stupid we are. Only smart people have money.
Today in therapy. I learn about emotional safety. I never heard of that term. But feeling and opinion was usual stifle when I was younger. Plus I would even say I'm somewhat ignorant when it comes to feelings. But I'm working on it.
I hope to get more items out in my yard. Maybe possible order some items on line. What the heck I think I will discuss briefly anther tad bit info from geneolink....memory performance. I'm high in this one, and I would agree. Not saying I never forget something. But general speaking dementia and or Alzheimer doesn't run high in the family. Plus I think I have pretty good cognitive skills. Part of my job is keeping things straight with my clients.

It is sad that some of the best people who have worked hard in underpaid jobs do not end with financially comfortable lives once they retire. I think that goes for all countries. It looks like aged card workers here might receive a huge pay rise and the discussed figure is AU$25 more an hour which might put them on perhaps $46 an hour. I can't see that happening but they will certainly receive a substantial pay rise.
ReplyDeleteI’ve never seen an anthill like that. Curious!

ReplyDeleteHaving money or not has nothing to do with 'smart', Dora... but everything to do with the flow of life for each and everyone of us. If that held I oughtta be in clover; instead I battle through on the equivalent of US$505/mnth. I've just paid my power bill for the month and it was more than any I had in the winter due to the recent sharp uprise in costs. Deep breaths ... YAM xx

I see an awful lot of people with money who I’d never consider to be smart, and I see a lot of people who are smart but don’t have money.
ReplyDeleteGood you are leaving that ant hill alone
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd end up as I did most of my life either. I feel very very lucky at this stage to have a roof over my head. You have a curious mind and are constantly trying to improve yourself. I admire that.
ReplyDeleteThat really is some ant hill. Being retired has trade-offs, but it's worth it to be poor and happy.
ReplyDeleteHaving money has nothing to do with being smart. So many idiots have money. The system is rigged. The whole smart thing is a way that those in control try to control the masses, taking a systemic failure and blaming those that the system failed.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen an ant-hill that big!
