I like the word “merit” today in therapy, we start to work on my I statements. In some of my negative I statement I use such or feeling words as “Undeserving” and “Worthless” When certain things come up in my life I will shut down or freeze. It seems or other baby boomers I talk to. Feeling and opinion was hardly EVER LET OUT.
There was a political rally for SCOTT HERNDON on south side of Bonners Ferry. It seems like not all that many was there. I'm guessing about 2 dozen people. But plenty of his sign are up in this area.
I have an ideal about tomorrow blog post. I hope I remember.
Glad I got some items taken to thrift store. Although I didn't make my goal of 50 items. But I did get slight over half. Free up some space.
I haven't look but hubby fixed my door issue and mirror. Although I haven't check it out. I'm thankful. Thought I would share on my traits from geneolink and it says I don't have much empathy. I don't agree with it.

I had to look up "empathy" and my thesaurus says: pity; warmth; rapport; sympathy; compassion; congeniality; compatibility; understanding. I've got some of those things, so I guess I could say I have Empathy. But there's times I wish people would just go away and leave me alone too.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to free up some space and send the items to the thrift shop. I haven't gotten down to sorting out my things. I am sure I will be clearing quite a lot from my cupboards. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI bet as I type this you have forgotten the idea for tomorrow's blog post.
ReplyDeleteI never thought to make a specific goal of items to take to the thrift store. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteSounds like your therapy is moving along nicely!
ReplyDelete...“Undeserving” and “Worthless” are not productive words.
ReplyDeleteI hope therapy helps you find kinder words for yourself.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get an idea for a blog post when I'm not ready to write it, I'll start a post in Blogger with just a title. I'll leave it in draft until I'm ready to work on it. This helps me somewhat with not forgetting what I want to write.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea
DeleteLove today's art. Have a happy Easter, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHoping your idea comes to you. Liz (above) has a good suggestion. I do that sometimes (but not enough). Please, be kind to yourself. You are far from worthless. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThose who come from abusive backgrounds don't always have empathy as it was something not shown toward them. Glad you are getting something out of therapy.
