Past present and future posting. It Monday actually and I'm typing over on “Open Office” But yesterday it was Sunday and I forgot to do my three weekly review of post. I will be them shortly. But in minute I want to cover my Monday.
A short day at work. Not so worried about my hours and time. I guess one could say I'm training my self and or my clients for retirement. So Liz I got in 2 hours, and Regis 2 ½ hours. Pretty easy day at both. One reason I made it short day. I want to get that package send pack to Amazon and had to drive to Sandpoint. Went to Arby's had one of there roast beef sandwich. Stop at dollar store and got a phone charger and USB cord. And candy bar.
My first comment will be from RIVER and her comment was...I have to go vote tomorrow, standing in line, wearing a mask, in the heat. But later in day I am going out to dinner with old friends I used to work with...Our primary is I believe May 17 2022, than our general election is first Tuesday in November. I haven't made my mind, but I think I will vote by mail. To many crazy around here. I lay low. Hope you had nice dinner with your friends.
My second comment will be from BRAIN and his comment was...Oh that chocolate pie looks yummy...It was.
My Third and last comment will be from CHRISTINE and her comment was... Loosing an hour is not the fun time change...Either falling or springing a head on clock at this day and time has no sense. I wish they would just leave it alone.
Couple of things I would like to say about Monday. Got my car vacuumed out. And mange to get a little bit of walk in. Also I need some me time. So I drove to Sandpoint by my self. And got some street art down the artist ally. And some small sculpture.
This morning I went to Liz place first, she fell back to sleep early. Her grandson does what all three year do. Make a mess. It a lease gave me something to do. Than over to Regis, general pick up and laundry. Plus we went out for coffee. After work I found a few more items in back bedroom that I can take to the thrift store, in morning. Regis and I are planning to go to the thrift store to look around. Maybe I will find a few more items to take in. The items I drop off on Sunday is already out on shelves. Never look at price they put the items.
I'm down in weight a little.
Going to now do artist from territories of the United States. Today artist is JOHN KNEUBUHL who worked in film industry as a writer and is from AMERICAN SAMOA
Coffee is on and stay safe
Hope your week will be good, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGlad you had an easy day with Liz and Regis. I am also down by 2 kg. Hope to lose more.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to be able to slow down you work into retirement. My job was not one where I could do that. I worked the last day, and that was the end. I was on holidays, I told myself and I was, a very long holiday that hasn't finished yet and never will.
ReplyDelete...my SUV is so dirty inside and out that perhaps I need to shovel out the inside.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're doing well with your walking and working towards retirement. We need to start cleaning things out to take to a thrift store...though some I think should just be tossed. It's overwhelming trying to decide where to start.
ReplyDeleteSandy's Space
Glad you’re doing well, I was concerned about you awhile back.
ReplyDeleteWe tend to lose weight in spring I am hoping and thinking.
ReplyDeleteGood to take shorter times with your clients on occasion. A break really!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have some easier days on your way toward the retirement prize!
ReplyDeleteWait, if you take some things to the thrift and then buy other things from the thrift, you're not loosing any stuff, just swapping some for some more.
ReplyDeleteI like Arby's, but they're only doing drive thrus around here. I haven't been in one in ages. I like their French dip.
ReplyDeleteI had a roast beef sandwich for lunch today too. I'm planning on going to the big thrift store across town soon.
