Had some posting issue yesterday, and end up tossing it in trash. Hopefully I can catch all of you up on my happenings.
Tuesday was Regis birthday, even at 61 he want it be acknowledge. So we went to Spokane to meet his school friend Geyla. She comes out of Moses lake about 2 hours west of Spokane. I'm about 2 hours north of Spokane. She does the same thing as I do. She brought her client Lee with. They picked up Lee boyfriend Stone, who lives in Spokane. We went to IHOP and it was cut short Stone was having an asthma attack. Regis got his marijuana and his models.
Wednesday I did both Regis and Liz. Regular day. No appointment. Took Regis over to the thrift store. Neither one of us got anything.
So this morning I went over to Liz and took 120 down to the power company and wash some blanket. Plus some light pick up. Today would have been her son David Birthday. He would of turn 34. I thought she handle it quite well. I took Regis to Cognitive therapy.
Remenber in past how I post about Liz being over at Regis. Well now he got Alondia who lives in Apartment across the parking lot. Staying at his place. Although I don't know how much. But I know Regis uses his mental illness to manipulate. And David death was quite hard on Regis.
Good Lord, I want to retire. Might as well give you the head up on Alondia. Her mom was involved with CHRISTOPHER BOYCE and she self medicates. Can't prove it but I'm sure she uses METH off and on. I think she rather not. She claims that she hears a little girl voice at her place. And now she hears it over at Regis place, even Regis hears it. I would guess Alondia didn't have an easy childhood, what I gather.
Regis Cognitive therapist ask if he had company and Alondia was brought up. Regis doesn't pay attention on what he says. Moves his mouth and not engaged his brain. Telling his cognitive therapist he got a meth head staying there. So he bitch about Liz being at his place. But wouldn't tell her to leave. Hopefully it does end up being the same with Alondia as it was with Liz
So one day I ask Regis what he did on weekend before Liz came. He had care giver Kent. To find out about every weekend he was at Kent place. My client been to my home. But I won't let them stay or I won't stay at there places. Kent is Minster and Regis brought that they fought a lot for being minsters. My reply was “There only human” I can see struggle bring a client home and having them stay. Plus he mention that Kent stayed at his place.
Before I head to work, I'm going to call our internet provider and have them walk me though on hooking up the router. Weather nice blue sky's. Saw a blue jay this morning. Gas at $4.19 here. Some guy at hospital agree with me that gas here will be $5.00 a gallon, by April.
Today Artist is CHARLES MARION RUSSELL who lived in MONTANA
Minster? Do you mean Minister, like a man of the church?
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is wise for carers to have clients stay at their house or for carers to stay at clients houses. maybe a visit, but not stay overnight.
Yeah, keep that line drawn between client and friend/family. You have friends and family over, not clients. Will get you in trouble. Anyhow, gas here is about or was, I can't keep up, now $4.75 or so.
ReplyDeleteGas prices are so high in Toronto as well.
ReplyDeleteThe soap opera that is Regis and Liz … sorry you have to deal with so much drama.
ReplyDeleteOh, and gas is $4.37 here in New York.
ReplyDeleteYour clients lead very complicated lives, thats not easy for you, either. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYou do have a tough job!

ReplyDeleteIt is wise not to have a client in your home nor to overnight at theirs. Boundaries are important.
ReplyDeleteFuel is going up everywhere. Who knows where it will end
ReplyDeleteI agree don’t get too close to your clients. Keep the relationship on a purely professional level
I got gas for $5.35/gallon yesterday. Just topped off my tank. It rose 10 cents/gallon today.
ReplyDeleteI definitely wouldn't want clients like that in my home. Not even for a visit during the day. You've really got to maintain those boundaries.
Happy Birthday to Regis! Hope he had an enjoyable day.
