Today Is Wednesday March 2 2022, This Is What Happen

For got to share about next art exhibit at GUUAC this one is about MURDER MISSING INDIGENOUS WOMAN and my own community didn't treat local Indians here well. It change once the Indians got there casino and capital followed there way. Before that they were treat “shit” and I can recall hearing if local Indian went into a store, over the loud speaker. Saying and Indian was in the store. Sure at this time most of the time the Indians were drunk. If it wasn't for the casino, and money it brings into the tribes. I believe they would still be treat like shit. Although there still issue which I'm un-ware of. Statement time...I take issue with COLONIZATION and IMPERIALISM. As my D.N.A show I have no American Indigenous. My Native start would probably been CELTIC BRITONs

and FRISIAN. Than also ancestor had played the part of the conquer such as ANGLO SAXON JUTE. One hears of social elites called WASP, which is from line of colonizer and imperializer.

I found out we still have an local Art club. I won't be attending the meeting in March. Regis has appointment, and on that day, the 8th is his birthday. For becoming 61. I believe he want balloons, clown, and pony for his birthday. The entire 9 yards. Lot ways he stuck in his teen years emotionally. His med keeps him in check. So I'm planning to go the meeting in April.

Bart is back from Seattle and his cancer treatment. Monday he went back to work. I haven't seen him or talk to him. I thought I would let thing settle for him. There is 2 weekend this month is open to go down to Spokane. Plus I have cousin Bernadette I wouldn't also mine stop by. Been hearing a little bit of people who was part of Katrina hurricane down in New Orleans. And there is increase of cancer. One of the people he went down also had brain cancer, not sure is same type. He was down afterward help build there community. Going to appointment that out, so if he wants he can bring it up with his oncologist.

Not sure when I will be going down to Medford. I'm hoping in June. But the airline ticket is a lease double in price. My wages wasn't double in price. I been looking at taking amtrak. But that has it issues a well.

Anyhow what every decided it won't be til after memorial day in June. Son Sawyer said there some new science museum, and wants to take us to it. I was briefly looking at ART MUSEUM IN ASHLAND OREGON I know current exhibit will be gone. But the artist MARIM GHANI showing and resume. For a town size of ASHLAND

For first day back to work, all went well. Rain most of the day.

Today artist is HELEN HENERSON CHAIN who is from COLORADO

  1. It's the same old story. "They" aren't welcome. Until or unless "they" have money. Then the "white" people want "their" share. There is a lot of wrong done in the name of money.

I endorse what River wrote. It is much the same here. When white man wants something they are very accommodating to Aborigines and even recent immigrants. But...

  4. Sad when people are treated like that, and the reason for a change.
A pony. Oh, what a sad story. Back to work sounds great!

  5. I remember that around Tucson the Native tribe started a casino & city/county/state wanted them to pay tax...no way. Tribal land ...tax free! That's one for the "indians".

  10. I'm happy to hear that your son is home. I grew up in New York City and spent some of my 20's in Kansas. A couple of people I knew or worked with had indigenous ancestors. And now, all the women who have gone missing over the years and authorities don't seem to care - it's horrifying. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  11. The tribe issue is everywhere. We have a famous saying here that "Cash is King!". Glad to know that your Bart is now back to work and that you will be visiting the Science museum soon.

  12. I have read a lot about the American Indian's history ! And the first time I was in the States was in 1971, at that time the "Indians" were still living very poorly in reserves (like camps) and there was even a big poster not to buy anything from Indians (of course I did because they had beautiful jewelry !) The alcohol came from the white people on purpose when they were drunken it was easier to keep them quiet !
My 83 year old friend had brain cancer and had a chimeo treatment, now she is feeling well looks great and I only hope it will last !
