Today Is Wednesday February 16 2022, This Is What Happen.

As many of you know I'm interested in different culture and people. It one of reason I read blog and take part in blogs. I believe I have variety of blogs I visited. With all sort of likes and dislikes.

I went on to local face book group here in Boundary county called, “Selkirk Porch Chat” and this question...Are they any creative clubs in Boundary county....such as a writer, art, photo, drama, film and etc. The only answer was go talk to the person at book store.

Regis had a doctor appointment in Sandpoint and afterward we ran around. One of the place we went was the CEDAR STREET BRIDGE and they have a place called CREATIONS FOR SANDPOINT It set up for people come and be creative. There supplies and tools there for all sort of creation. I'm not sure how they are fund. I know there a donation jar, ask for donated supplies, and they do offer classes. For a reasonable price. And also I'm guessing they might get a grant.

I believe every community should have a creative center.

Always want to look at Sandpoint art alley. It was first time I actual looked at. Although we didn't get down to see the entire thing. Here is TEN MINUTE video

Also at the cedar street bridge, stop in place called TAYSTYS. They had one of the best breakfast burrito I ever ate. Plus a lot fun stores.

We went to Library.

Afterward I went to Liz and she been doing these little creature up. I just need to get back to an artist from each state. Last photo is from my art visit from Spokane. Nice day to be out and about.

  1. If you can't find the thing you're looking for, sometimes it's because you're the one who needs to create it.

I really like the sound of of creative centres, and it doesn't really matter what you create. Painting, pottery, stories, knitting even.

  6. I've been to our super tiny local museum and once worked at the one in the county next door. We have a carpusel. Other than that, we don't have cultural events or such here. Not that I can find. There are a few parks but they're like neon green grass with nothing else, maybe a bench, or small group of kid playground toys. There's not much to do in this town, it's just a lot of development spread out either side of the major freeway really. I like you're trying to dig out something there where you live.

  10. There should be more creative and community centers, but here I don't know too many people who would use them.
