Back on my last FRIDAY POST the blogger from outside of the United States, sure had a different look on the topic of wall washing of a place one “rented” It been years since I rent, and I haven't heard of land lord coming in and do a so call wall washing, or any so called SPRING CLEANING I tried to find info on what is consider deep cleaning and plenty of company out in world that does it.
I would consider these things to be deep cleaning.
Pull every thing off walls and ceiling wash them down, with some type of general house cleaner. Than put every thing back up.
Pull every thing out of kitchen cabinet and clean them in side and out. And items inside of the cabinets.
Wash floors and shampoo carpet, which would include pulling out stove, fridge and moving furniture
Clean all window coverings
Take out drip pan and fan filters in oven and stove, clean them and put them back.
Window washing both inside and out.
Take down all light fixture and wash them.
This what I consider deep cleaning. This might give some of you an ideal of CHORE SERVICE. Since he lives in a subsidize housing, they might consider it the housing job to do the heavier items around the place. I believe if Regis had his own place, he than would get chore service. I only did a fill in a few times that actual they own there own home, and they got the state chore service. Time set a side per week to do such things above, which would include yard work.
The thought of having all most a week off from work, sound so nice. I need it. Regis Friend Brenton came over a washed his carpet. Well I should say Brenton and I did it.
I'm going to suggest to Regis about he having Breton work on the walls.
My friend LaWalla was doing windows for someone who didn't have chore service. Well she was on chair and she fell and hit her hit heard, and end up with knot on forehead. Went to the emergency department. Workman compensation wouldn't cover the medical. Well she does have Medicare and they did pick it up.
Liz doing ok, did some laundry. A little bit of house stuff. She been decorating her bedroom. I like how she hung her drapes on her window.
Hubby feeling a little rough. Quite cold here now. Today artist is CHARLES CAJORI he is from CALIFORNIA and top picture is from my last trip to Spokane art adventure.
That describes deep cleaning as I know it, but I've never done that much while living in a place and wouldn't without some help. I have done the deep cleaning after I move out of a place, it is much easier to do with all the furniture gone. I am in subsidised housing now and if or when I move out, housing will then clean the place and repaint if necessary ready for the next tenant. But if I want my walls and floors cleaned I have to do it myself or hire a cleaning company and pay for it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger, I do deep cleaning once a year. But now, I no longer do deep cleaning.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky I always had a cleaning women who came 5 h when we lived in our house now she comes for 4 h and no deep cleaning is needed as she cleans one room deeply one after the other and cleans the windows too. But I have bought a special device for window cleaning so it is very easy and quick because we have huge window doors.
ReplyDeleteHere we only do this as what you call renovating.
ReplyDeleteI especially love those last two art pieces today!
ReplyDeleteInteresting artist today. Awful that Lawalla hit her head like that.
ReplyDeleteI need to do some cleaning when I get back home! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI would risk the fall if I were you, yes, get his pal to do the walls.
