Thank someone it Friday! Two days off! Praise someone! I came home and threaten my husband I was going to call social security and see what would get if I start drawing on Monday. This is pretty useless threat couldn't do anything until Monday morning. Plus my 2021 social security won't get to social security department until May of this year.
Before I went to work I call my supervisors and ask about wall washing with my client. It consider chore service and wouldn't be covered under workman compensation insurance. So if I fell off let say a latter doing his walls and got hurt. The workman compensation wouldn't cover my medical. I'm not even sure if my own private insurance would do. I would guess they would say I was on job and workman compensation will pick up. I'm guessing I would be holding the bag.
Like I said, I'm willing to work with someone to find a solution.
I know I will pay some bills this weekend. Doesn't that sound exciting. I guess rest time I will just do what ever. I have nothing plan.
At times I wish I had more to post about. I go to work and come home. Maybe once I retire I hope to have more news to share with all of you.
Today photos is Regis place, his walls are something. And his housing want them wash. Nice sunny day.

Looks like Regis may have a collection that would sell :) I have never heard of wall washing, here we just paint it when it looks grubby. I hope you have a lovely weekend off and do something nice, a walk in nature, some photography - I like seeing your surroundings, especially out the back of your garden.

ReplyDeleteSometimes just one's daily life is enough to report - and those who visit here do so because we are interested in you... surely the housing folk are responsible for the walls washing and this ought not to fall to you as the personal care person - and I certainly think you ought not to be climbing ladders for such a task. I agree with Betty - there's money on them there walls! YAM xx

ReplyDeleteI didn't know anyone washed walls anymore. I remember my grandmother having it done when I was a kid, but nowdays...I don't know anyone who does that. No way would you be able to clear off the walls enough to wash them. Hope next week is a better week for you.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of my departed mother in law's place, it was hard cleaning up after she died although she was very organized, she kept a lot of ornaments and stuff.

ReplyDeleteThose walls look fine to me, what I can see between all the stuff anyway. at least now you have photos, so if you take everything down, you will know where to put it all back into place after the wall washing. My own walls here are dusty, especially in the bathroom where the clothes dryer is, I know I should sweep them at least, but if I don't look too close I can't see the dust. That's an amazing collection Regis has.
ReplyDeleteRegis is a hoarder. I don't know anyone who washes walls. Paint yes. My life is like yours. I work, come home, exercise, make dinner. Nothing exciting. I hoping when I retire life will be more of an adventure.
