Woke up to snow. Usually first snow ends be sloppy. Because it will warm up or turn to rain.
I talk to my supervisors about the 30 day rule of no service. Because of our high number of covid and the percentage of positivity rate, which is 29.57% the state temporarily drop that rule. Although I'm not sure when it will be reinstated and or will go into immediate effect. So I'll just play it by ear for now. But I'm not tell Liz because it will be drag it out, to you knows when. My pay check been cut in half. This coming Thursday it will be 3 weeks.
I start to make some cloth mask for my trip to Oregon. I sat down at computer, thinking it was a sewing machine. Wondering what planet I was on.
With not as many hours. I been getting a few things done around the place. Today I called and see about heat and energy assistance. When the boys was at home, a lot of time we got help on our utilities. But once the boys left and Murphy and I was in work force we didn't qualify. When we got our own firewood, if memory service me correctly. We got a check for $200. I figure it covered the cost of getting firewood. So now we will have credit to either the electrical or the gas company. There been time we had put on the electrical bill and it covered usually for 4 to 6 months. I know they shift the basic income for poverty rate. Plus at end of the month I'm dropping cost of my smart phone down. I don't use data I have.
Took Regis down to purchase his glasses at Walmart. Personally I use Zenni or company of same. I think he was uncomfortable measuring for his own glasses. But before we went and did the glasses. We went over to Library in Sandpoint. I took back my dvds. Didn't get any and reason we're heading out of town. I still have 2 books here....Iris Apfel accidental icon Musing of a Geriatric Starlet. And the other book Junglow decorating wild by Justina Blakeney. Regis got his usual horror movies.
Coffee is on and stay safe.

ReplyDeleteYikes, it's way too early for snow!
ReplyDeleteSnow! Yuck. We’ll have it soon too.
ReplyDeleteThey're changing all sorts of requirements for Covid. Definitely don't tell Liz. Does she not realize you're not getting paid when she doesn't go home?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew, get all the benefits you can and when you retire, you might get more, but you might have to reapply with your different income level.
ReplyDeleteI like that last painting very much, it would look good on my wall, since the colours are the same as my drapes.
