LOVERS Isn't the last card, but if all works out tomorrow will be last card for this Samhain season. And also I will answer the decks I have.
Finish up the week with Regis, we went to the both thrift store. Not sure what he bought, usual he hit the toys section and craft area. Although I seen him find some unique items and ends up creating something. I got a few things. Since things might be changing on my job. Money budget is changing.
Liz was over at Cyrus place watching her Grandson. Because she wasn't start at her home or any part of it. I wasn't getting paid. But that ok. I honestly like her. I told her with new system and such. She will be up at her place by the 19th of this month for a half hour. She will loose her in home and personal care service. I'm not much on being a "nag" or someone who "gripes" a lot. It's one of those trigger issue for me. So I told her that I would remind her either Tuesday or Wednesday about the time thing once again. Plus I brought up general hygiene.
Confession time...With hassle of checking in and out. I honestly don't care if I loose my job. Post YESTERDAY how the time clock works. It pain in patootie. It not like I'm making bank. I make $14.95 and hour. Take home pay is $12.00 and hour. I know quite few companies pay a lot less. With Liz not being home for last 2 weeks, my check is cut in half. My ideal was finish up with Regis and Liz. On January 3 2023, I was going to tell them I was slowly going to start cutting back up coming April by 4 hours a week, each of them would get 12 hours instead of the 16 hours. Than in July I would cut back anther 4 hours a week, which lives in them 8 hours a week. So I believe my readers are smart enough to figure what I'm trying to do. The reason I'm doing it this way. Well there 2 reason why I'm doing it this way. Both Regis and Liz deserve someone who cares. And if I call the company on Jan 3 of 2023. And tell them I'm going to retire this year. They might not put any effort looking for someone. I seen people leave a loose date and there still at client place. I want my last day to be December 29 2023 or before. How every it works I will only be putting in 4 hours a week, for each.
More and more I look forward to weekend. Although I enjoy both of my client. It the entire clock thing. It just seems cold non personal. As I mention not many wears mask in this area. Even I'm vax. I wear an N95. Where Sawyer and Betty lives down in Southern Oregon everyone wears a mask. So I can be more fashionable and wear something fun. So this weekend I want to make a few mask. Something Autumn. Looks like we have 26 cases in our county today and 2 more death. One needs to understand our county population is 12,056 in 2022. There is 44 counties in state of Idaho, we're the 25th most populated county. But over 75% of land here is mange by the national forest service.
I was hoping to go visiting Bart and his family over the weekend. But he is heading down to Southern California and do some hiking.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Glad to hear Bart is going hiking! Though I’m sure you’d love to see him.
ReplyDeleteI hope your plans towards retirement work out. If you lose Liz because she doesn't come home, you will have only Regis, is that right? Will you take another client to keep enough money coming in?
ReplyDeleteIf you're seeing her but not in her home, you don't get paid? That sucks.
ReplyDeletecan see your retirement plan taking shape although your reduced hours are going to make things frugal for you, it's quality of life at the end of the day I can see that. Masks aren't being worn around here, we had about 400 cases of Covid per 100,000 in our location. I get my booster jab next weekend. Seems you can never have too many masks! they sell them everywhere now like a fashion item! Good to see your Bart is having some fun, hiking sounds great.
ReplyDeleteThe red writing on the dark background is very hard to read! Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWow, your blog looks so different. Could it be that you could sell your house and move somewhere nicer to a smaller place, maybe a retirement village.
ReplyDeleteGood that you have a plan for the job.
ReplyDeleteI meant to tell you that too, your blog looks great. I'm glad Bart is up to hiking.
ReplyDelete...living in your area has to be a challenge!
ReplyDeleteKeep hearing in the news about eastern Oregon counties who want to become part of "Greater Idaho", leave Oregon, join Idaho, mainly because they hate our democratic governor. My thoughts are, and sorry to say, you want to leave--get moving. Go. But they'd miss badly Oregon's generous welfare benefits and legal pot. Most of those counties are high government assistance and Idaho probably wouldn't want them. You've maybe heard the story too, being on that side.
ReplyDeleteWhat a different world out there. Our county in New York is still hovering around 59% vaccination, which seems high compared to you (37%?) but it's still not good.
ReplyDeleteOh, it sounds like such a pain.
