Yesterday (July 11 2018) I wash off the bucket of rocks that I will be taking to our 2nd annul camp out.
But also I got the chairs ready for our circle. Wipe it down with moon water (Holly Water) and with sage ask those who every sits in the chair that comfort comes to them, they stay safe and is blessed.
There people who can't stand during our entire ceremony.
My Mennonite neighbor were having some type of religion activity. I could hear them singing. Actual it was quite beautiful.
And I'm our doing a ritual on the chairs.
I guess I have to wonder. What there thinking they have a pagan living next door. I've never brought up my beliefs.
Mennonites don't push there beliefs either. Which I like about them.
Isn't it amazing what we can still learn being middle age. I thought those who TOSSED THE BONES actual used bones. They use all sort of odds and ends.
Question time...What is something you thought or said but later found out you were wrong?
I did mange to get in a small walk this morning. Regis took me out for lunch. We split a child plate of chicken nuggets. He had the chicken nuggets and part of the fries.
Then I had half of fries and the salad.
I meant my friend Quenella at understand for morning coffee. And coffee I been trying to keep down to a minimum.
But coffee to me is some what a ritual for me. I like sitting on deck and joying what is.
I use to do a SCAVENGER HUNT for the WHEEL OF YEAR using snail mail and depending on which pagan holiday...I would ask for seven items to be exchange.
It was fun and I'm thinking of doing it for Mabon.
Coffee is on

Your post reminds me I need to wash my lawn chairs, I never use them so I'm giving them to a young man who is moving into his own place for the first time and he has nothing.

ReplyDeleteOh crikey, to me, if I don't learn at least one new thing each day, I consider it a day wasted! YAM xx
Research suggests that those who drink coffee live longer, so enjoy
ReplyDeleteJudging people too early is a thought. Sometimes they turn out to be very nice people, and I have judged them too early.
ReplyDeletePS I wonder who River's young male friend is?
I'm taking my granddaughter to Cape Cod and I was thinking about what she would eat. The child only eats things like chicken nuggets, so I will pick up some of those for her, then go to the harbor to have fish for me. A grand time! For our beach lunches I bought peanut-butter and jelly for her, and foil pouches of tuna for me. Life is fun!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, I called an apartment house a "department house." For the longest time I thought that when my grandmother said she was going to a wedding, that she was going to some kind of party in which the ladies changed babies' wet diapers.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of an example, but I'm sure there are things practically every day that I think are right, but end actually being wrong. :-)

ReplyDeleteYou are cutting back on coffee?!?! Why? Many studies are suggesting it has some significant health benefits now.
My coffee cup has helped me in my struggle to stay away from my beloved pipe tobacco. I still miss smoking a pipe greatly, but I have now gone over 150 days.
PipeTobacco
Sounds like you're getting ready for your thing. I hope it goes well.
ReplyDeleteDespite their conservative (in a religious sense) relgion, Mennonites and the Amish are quite non-pushy. Now if only all the world religions could learn to do the same.
ReplyDeleteOh gee, it seems that I say or think something every day that is wrong.
